Fun Valley Campground, South Fork, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Good: A lot to do. Bad: Damaging Voltage less than 104V. Raw sewage on ground daily. Water pressure 0-40psi, morning shower without your pump, no way. Laundry Mat has not opened, again, more empty promises. Grounds are the worsed I have ever seen here. They seem to cater to their $230 dollar a night customers, and to heck with the rest. By the way those customers have good electrical. The ugly, there is no fire protection of any kind. And without water half the time, it could be disastrous. New owners seem to have priority of let's run off the current and past guest and get higher paying new ones. At the end of last year, new owner promised and promoted, a correction to electrical system, water system, wastewater system. None of which was done. Fool us once, same on you, fool me twice shame on me. We camped at Fun Valley Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Fun Valley Campground, South Fork, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Park under new owners. They are trying to improve park, but are forsaking current and long time users (7th year for us). They have installed premium 50 AMP sites, while old sites are burning down pedestals with low voltage: 104V and bad wiring. Water pressure in the mornings 6psi. There is no Fire Protection in the park. They need to address problems before improvements. But its apparent that they are looking for new cliental instead of serving current and past customers. Sad. We will not return. Still a great place for kids, but damage to appliances and AC units not worth it. Now they have computerized the check in and out systems, it takes forever to get checked in or out. We camped at Fun Valley Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Still a great place for kids. New owners need to focus on bringing park electrical and water up to date. Get their wastewater plant up to speed to handle the loading.

East Fork COE, Wylie, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The park has gone down hill over the past years. Roads are bad enough to damage Rig and vehicles. Grass is not being mowed. Boat launch is (and has been) closed, nothing wrong with launch, just to lazy to collect fees. Just leveled their big bathroom and shower. Even the grills are trash. It used to be a nice park. Sites are now unlevel and rain accumulates, badly Will not stay again. $30 is high for no sewer hook ups and no other amenities. We camped at East Fork COE in a Fifth Wheel.
