Had stayed here several times 10 years or so ago. The trees were grown with a beautiful lineup of well shaped christmas type trees lining the streets. Cash only and no discounts. Site was nice back in with good cable and decent wifi. We stayed for 1 nite only and used none of the facilities except rest rooms and showers. We stayed here in a class B MH with no slides or toads. We would stay here again.

We have been here many times previously in our class A and first time in our class B with no slides or toad. Stopped only for the night and left early am to beat the supposed hurricane at our home near Charlotte, NC. Sites were ok and a bit more crowded than our previous class A sites. Cable was excellent. wifi was ok. About 1/2 mile off interstate 26 near several restaurants. We would stay here again.

We found this to be a gem of a CG!! - A pleasant surprise when we just needed a stop for the night. We camped here in a class B MH with no toad and an indoor cat. The service person was helpful and also led us to our site in a golf cart. The grounds are immaculate with many long term tenants escaping from lower NC and other heat. Pads and most roads are concrete - seemed like only the ends of the cg were gravel to facilitate turns aligned with 1 way internal roads. No cable tv and we received NO antenna channels either. Pads are level!!! Many had their satellite antennas set up. Showers and rest room are only facilities we used. We would stay here again.

Superb staff and a pleasant CG. Not too full during week, but told it was packed on weekends. We stayed here in our class B MH with no slides or toad. This place is a bit off the beaten path and a real KOA CG with emphasis on CG - a great getaway for families. Near Boone "attractions". No cable or antenna reception. wifi good. We changed site easily because our first sit E-1 was a bit lopsided and we have on jacks - site D-1 was more level - to where we moved. We would stay here again.

Very nice accessible park close to I-95. We stayed 1 night while travelling off season in our class B MH - no slides or toad. Timer on shower was a pain, but can be outsmarted. Very nice staff. Cash only for Passport discount. Gate entry gives a bit of extra security. We would stay here again.

Stay here often because relatives live nearby. With Passport discount out of season, and no discount in season. We stayed here in a class B MH - no slides or toad. Access coming in from east is great. West requires a turn through some usually heavy traffic on FL 60. We use right turns to get out of parking lot, so we don't have to play chicken with cars and trucks trying to turn left across traffic. Showers and rest rooms okay - no a/c in 95 degree temperatures. We WILL stay here again.

Probably best KOA we've used over 17 year MH. Stayed here 1 night while traveling. Did not leave park except to buy some cokes at the shopping center next door, thru the 8am to 8pm walking gate. Pleasant and helpful staff along with the nicest and cleanest showers we've used. Easy entry of FL 301 with good cable tv, but so-so wifi. Never have had a good wifi in all our years, so we use a Verizon hot spot. Interesting gate to the shopping center adjacent - which we used. We stayed here in a class B MH, no slides or toad. We would go out of our way to stay here again.

Entry from the street looks like a trailer park but the RV park is quite nice - behind the "entry". The RV park is totally separate and well kept. Staff was friendly, but didn't compute 10% discount correctly - 10% of $39 is NOT $3! Did have cable tv but not digital boxes - yet many channels were receivable after doing auto program. We would stay here again.

A very nice family park not far from I-41 (about 1 .4 miles). Rate was for July 4th weekend and we "lucked" out to get a site on Friday before weekend before reserved camper came in. Nice pool, okay WiFi, zero TV reception!! Wonder why several CGs we have been in this trip have no hot water at BR sink - I enjoy shaving in the CG BRs early am, but not with cold water.

A pleasant surprise - CG with a 4200 ft landing strip. Fly in or RV in!! Nice setting in wooded area with an unusual positioning of sites - mostly good. Not a row after row! Position of water and electric boxes shared by 2 (electric) or 4 (water) is awkward but ok - maybe needing an extension. Dump station is easily accessible. We stayed here 1 night in a class B MH - no slides or toad. Showers are clean and very usable. We would stay here again!

This. Is a gem of a campground! We stayed here in a class B MH with no slides or toad. Site was concrete surrounded by finely manicured lawn. Dump at site was far back so we had to back onto grass to dump - but okay - since we stayed here only 1 night, only had to do it once. Location is almost right downtown near all stores, etc. The woman who checked us in was super nice and knowledgeable. We would stay here again. We picked a site with all hookups because we could get cable and we hadn't seen TV in quite a while - thus the $39 vs $31 with no dump but no cable.

A pleasant surprise before heading to the Porkies in the AM. We stayed here in a 23' class B MH - no slides or toad. Couldn't reach them via phone because of non cell areas throughout UP. BUT the owner had heard enough to have a site picked for us. Short walk to the river (a bit muddy) but interesting to see their pontoon boat anchored with a bolted picnic table on it. Quite different. The owner and staff were helpful and attentive. We would stay here again. Our site was electric and water - convenient dump station. Showers and rest rooms were roomy and clean. - and HEATED!!

We stayed here in our 23' Class B MH - no slides or toad. When we pulled in, we thought we'd made a big mistake, because a long good gravel entrance road, then it was a bit dog eared - no attendant and we were greeted by a nice neighbor lady who pointed to the site we had been assigned via our telephone call. WE FELL IN LOVE WITH THE PLACE! My wife found a super lode of Lake Superior rocks (on nearby lake shore)and could have spent hours filtering the stones, but kept just a few. Rest rooms and showers were neat and clean, but a bit cold (unheated) in the 55 degree temp at night and morning. Laundromat had 2 driers and 3 washers $2 per load (honor system). If you ever wanted to "camp" in a motorhome, this is the place! A rugged, but superb setting! The owner drove by in his dune buggy like vehicle - we flagged him and paid him and got great advice on where to go when we headed to Copper Harbor. Our site had water and electric (30 amp) - I believe all were 30 amp. Place is named after its sunset and it is beautiful! We would stay here again.

We stayed here in a 23' class B MH - no slides or toad. Site had 50 amp only so we used a dogbone to hook up our 30 amp. Very nice folks on staff, beautiful setting and our site looked out over the BIG lake!! Had a drippy faucet at our site and reported to office - it had dug a foot deep hole. Hope they fix it ASAP! We would stay here again, Be careful - area around city has zero Verizon reception but at site 4 bars. Means you can't communicate if you're in the National park!!!!

We LOVED this place - our site 51 right on the water where we could watch freighters and other enter the locks. Super staff and well kept showers and rest rooms. Lots to see around locks with good restaurants nearby. We stayed here in a class B - no slides or toad. Water and electric site with convenient dump upon exit. We would definitely stay here again.
