Twin Rivers Vacation Park, Roseburg, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Although the park is heavily wooded with wide spaces, the owner/manager taints the experience. First, she told us this was a great spot, and the "last" one. It was right on the only road, and it's busy all day. There are plenty of spaces open. The 1st morning she stood 6 inches from our RV for approximately 30 minutes watering plants while wetting down the picnic table, picnic bench, our grill and our outdoor chairs. Sprinklers were let run all day on the backside of the RV soaking the muddy ground. Narrow entry, tons of trees. Approximately 8 miles west of town. No river views from any spaces. We camped at Twin Rivers Vacation Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Korte's Checkers Welcome Campground, Welcome, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Fabulous, helpful, friendly owners and staff, this park bends over backward to make you feel right at home. They are flexible and fun, full of information about the area and events. The baths are cleaned daily, the spaces are kept neat. We camped at Korte's Checkers Welcome Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Club Naples RV Resort, Naples, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

If you like taking chances on hitting another vehicle coming/going, this is the place for you. Streets are far too narrow, sites are far too narrow; neurotic dogs barking day and night; irresponsible owners with attitudes; very unfriendly long-term, return campers. We pre-paid, or we'd be long gone. This is the 2nd year in a row that we know of that people have had accidents trying to pull out of tight spots/around corners. This park needs serious updating. We camped at Club Naples RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Suwannee River Hideaway Campground, Old Town, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stay here every time we go through this area. Friendly staff, courtesy service to sites. Bathrooms are rustic, but clean. Beautiful location. They really have put a lot into building trails along the Suwanee River and woods, and continue to work on the campground. Easy in/out, large sites, friendly campers. It's worth the trip, time, and camping fee. We camped at Suwannee River Hideaway Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
