Monarch Spur RV Park & Campground, Salida, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for a week and only had a couple of problems, all including "pets". Had to protect ours small <10 lb. dog on two occasions from large untied dogs. Next was a pet that was left alone that barked nonstop for 5 hours. The park appeared to be a little rundown and mowed areas were non-existence. Sites were very small, water pressure was weak, no AT&T service, free wifi was very poor. Laundry and bathroom were clean and maintained. will not stay again. We camped at Monarch Spur RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

High Desert RV Park, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

sites are level, utilities are easy to access, park does have quite a few long term residents, but there are no junky or unkempt units in the park. Nice and numerous pet runs, and they are kept very clean, vehicle vacuum station in the park, very quiet and staff was great. We will be back for sure. We camped at High Desert RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Clovis RV Park, Clovis, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very basic RV park, quite a few long term residents, but sites are maintained! Very few pull-thru sites but all were level and easy to get into and out. Couldn't get the WiFi to work, TV was awesome, over 200 channels with several movies channels. Staff was very pleasant and friendly, led us to site! We'll be back for sure! We camped at Clovis RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Abilene KOA, Abilene, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This park seems to have quite a few long-term residents, however didn't observe any that were junky or bad shape! The site we were in was a Jack and Jill setup, and it was very tight. Had to walk under the neighbor's awning to get to my truck! We were not bothered by noise and the park was quiet. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. This is the second time at this park. great as a overnight stop or short term stay. We'll be back, but next time will request a site that is a little larger. We camped at Abilene KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Riverway RV Park, Llano, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We have been full timers for 7 years, including general managers of a very busy park, and I have to say this is one of the best we have ever stayed. Large sites, super clean showers, well equipped exercise room, .5 mi walking path, large clubhouse, strong Wi-Fi, waterfront, cable, great hosts, great owners. Entire park is very well maintained, super quiet, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. I could go on and on. Great place to winter, local area is very scenic. Great place for rallies. We camped at Riverway RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Clovis RV Park, Clovis, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This park has the potential to become the top site in area. They have a really nice clubhouse, sites are large, really quite, no train horns. They only gave us the good Sam discount for the first night, no good Sam signs or other material, yet listed as good Sam park. Lots of temporary construction workers, but seems to be very quite. We'll come back, and hopefully they will teach their staff how to apply the good Sam discount program on nightly stays. We camped at Clovis RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Monte Verde RV Camp, Angel Fire, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

I don't give 10s normally, but in this case I have to break my rules. The sites are larger than any that I looked at in the area. The owners were great, so helpful in any matter, from parking, setup, directions, things to do, places to eat, everything. If you can't get along with these folks, then you are the problem. Nightly rate is based on monthly rate. Can't wait to return! We camped at Monte Verde RV Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park, Santa Rosa, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This park was clean, well organized, very few if any perms! The staff was friendly, the pool was nice and clean, the store was well stocked, the restaurant was good. So what's not to like? If Santa Rosa had more to offer, in the way of destination attractions, this would be the place to stay. Yes, we will return. We camped at Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

White Flint Park COE, Moffat, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 14 days. The park staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. Park was very well maintained, all facilities were clean, and bathrooms somewhat hot, but it's July in Texas. Very nice view of the Lake. Park host was out and about day and night. He kept the park in good order, quiet. Wildlife, deer, birds, armadillo, one fox, feral cats were in the park on quiet days. Lots of tents and boats on weekends, but for the most part, were well mannered! Will be back for sure. We camped at White Flint Park COE in a Fifth Wheel.

We really have been impressed with this park and it's managers, We were very happy they are not with KOA any more. The entire park was very well maintained. The sites were nice, patio, table, rocking chairs, good grill, and fire pit. Strong internet, good cable line-up. Will stay here many times to come. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Indian Woods Campground, Hilltop Lakes, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed there for a couple of weeks. Very quiet except on weekends; it then turns into a deer hunting camp with large campfires, loud talking late at night, and bathrooms left a mess. Found a very large pile of chewing tobacco in shower. Wi-Fi was very weak and slow. No cell phone service for AT&T and Sprint. Grass burrs everywhere. Everyone drives fast through park, even security! Sorry can't come back! We camped at Indian Woods Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Home On The Range RV Park, Madisonville, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Just off I-45, brings quiet a bit of road noise, but not enough to be an issue. Laundry/Restrooms/Showers building looks like hell, but they are clean. Owners pets (at least three dogs) are running loose and it appears no one picks up after them. Also had 7 or 8 chickens walking through the park, with a very loud rooster. Yes, I said Chickens! Restaurant on site, serves really good food and super staff. We camped at Home On The Range RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
