Very helpful staff...Park is clean and quiet. Will come here again.

The park is beautiful and quiet as can be. It is a wonderful place to spend the night, or even a week I imagine. there is plenty of wild life to watch, and after dark, it is totally quiet! Only downside was that our cable was all fuzz and since we were only staying one night, not really worth trying to string new cable. Also the Tengo wi-fi never did come in, although we tried several times. We didn't call the office about that part, again, as we were only here one night, we didn't care. Would definitely come here again!

This is a friendly park. There is as much, or as little, to do as you choose. There are activities every day, although some are not well attended. The "Quilting" is actually assembling quilt tops in a group for a charity for Mexico...Not a bad plan at all....just not "quilting". The other listed "sewing group" doesn't exist this year....I was disappointed as those were 2 of the reasons I chose this park. The staff is incredibly friendly, the facilities are clean, and the 10 acre lake is a nice visual. The shuffle boards are not level, but if you just want to play around, they are fine. The pool was clean and warm, as well as the Hot Tub. All in all, a good value, and a nice park.

This park is clean, friendly, and well managed. We had planned to stay only one night, and stretched it into two. The managers were on site, and led us to our pull through site. Instead of the usual stones in this Texas park, they actually beautiful well manicured grass at your site.

Very clean and level pull through. There was a patio, but unfortunately covered with goose droppings all over the patio and roads. Can walk to the water, and the park itself is really nice. Many paved areas you can ride bike and walking trails. Will stay there again...and bring a broom!

Great little park, very quiet and very clean. The site was clean and level. We stayed in site 25 across from the laundry-mat and showers. Not the best spot, as it is open 24 hours, and people were coming and going from there all night. The park itself is laid out great, but would choose a different spot next time we come through.

This is a beautiful (and at this time of year) very quiet park. We have seen all varieties of birds, squirrels, and even an armadillo over our coffee this morning! The only downside is that the water pressure is very low, and there is not septic, only a dump station. TV reception is pretty good, ATT is about 1/2 bars most of the time.

Very friendly residents. You can get as "involved" as you choose, or not. Pool was clean, residents friendly, everyone helpful. We have been there twice in 4 years...and will happily go again!

We had a wonderful time. The bike trails are the best we have ever encountered in our travels. Everything you would need it uptown, about 5 miles away...We had a wonderful month!

We are staying a month ($1,008). Very nice park with workers everywhere to answer questions, and help you in any way they can. Park is well groomed, offers inside pool and outside pool, as well as activities and activity room. Well groomed lots, where you can choose how close to the Gulf you want to be (Including sites right on the beach). Definitely worth the money!

Well kept quiet park. Has about 30 sites and all are cement pads and patios. The owners are very friendly and more than willing to help. I thought the price ($330 per week) was high considering there was no pool or clubhouse. Considering it is close to main roads, it is surprising how very quiet the park is. It is a great place to stop and rest a while, but really has no amenities to spend very much time there.

Wonderful quiet setting. We were parked right up on Mobile bay. Lots of space between sites, and lots of tall pines for shade. There wasn't much area to ride bikes though, just a loop around the park a few times. The road in front is very busy, and not bike friendly. Would, however be happy to go there again while visiting the area.

Beautiful state park! Spacious lots, walking trails everywhere. A little hard to maneuver with our toad around the sharp corners to get to the campground area. Since it is off season, they come to you to collect the night's fees which are very reasonable. Tables and fire rings were provided. Only drawback was the sound of the trains in the night, which was every few hours.

What a nice park for an overnight stay. We were far enough from the highway to eliminate most of the road noise. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although the roads are dirt, the park was quiet, clean, and well maintained. The sites were wide enough, but not much space left between us and the next site. The patio was almost nonexistent, but I would happily trade that for a quiet park after a long day on the road.

I need to reiterate an earlier review. Although the staff is friendly, this is NOT the place to stay if you want a good night's sleep! Start with loud diesels coming in and out of the park until after 11 PM. Follow that up with a 4:30 AM train that sounds like it is coming straight at you. Should you be able to fall back asleep, you will be awoken at about 5:30 with more diesel pick ups running up and down the road as apparently these people are leaving for work. The one next to us "warmed his truck up" for about 30 minutes before pulling out. We will definitely not be back!
