Ozark Country Campground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent little park. It is Branson's best kept secret, a little far from the main strip, but quiet, shady and very friendly owners. Large swimming pool, ramada, and large grassy area for walking your dog. We received the Passport America price for our stay, we would stay here again. W We camped at Ozark Country Campground in a Motorhome.

Kentucky Horse Park Campground, Lexington, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park, lots of shade trees and green grass, the sites were wide and deep. My only complaint would be that there were only two laundry areas with four washers (two of which were broken) and four dryers (one of them was down also) for such a large park. We will definitely return, also campers receive 50% off entry to the horse park, which is fantastic. We camped at Kentucky Horse Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Nashville Shores, Hermitage, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The water at this park was brown, not drinkable. We showed the office a cup of the water and were told that their pipes are old galvanized pipes that caused the water to be brown. We never heard from a manager in response to our inquiry. We bought bottled water to use. We stayed 2 nights. Would not return to this park due to the cost and undrinkable water. We camped at Nashville Shores in a Motorhome.

Heartland RV Park & Cabins, Hermosa, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground, gravel parking with grassy area and picnic table. Our site faced a green field with horses, very pretty. We were in the back row away from the highway, so it was quieter than the front rows. About 15 miles from Mt. Rushmore, we would stay here again. Our rate was a Passport America rate, very reasonable for the area. We camped at Heartland RV Park & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Yellow Banks Campground, Dale, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Rundown, hard to find place. We tried two different sites to find electricity, but no luck. No shade, too many mosquitos. We told managers, we were leaving, could not stay with no power, temperature was 105 degrees. We camped at Yellow Banks Campground in a Motorhome.

Grand Trails RV Park, Corydon, Indiana

A small run-down park. The cost was $40. plus $5. for each dog. I have never paid for my dogs anywhere else we've stayed. There is no place to even walk them. Would not stay here again. We camped at Grand Trails RV Park in a Motorhome.

Blue Sky Ranch RV Park (formerly Arizona Sands RV Park) (55+ Park), Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $35.00

This is a nice small park. It was clean, there was new bathrooms and a new laundry room. The Wi-Fi cost $5.00/day, a bit pricey, we did not use it. We would stay here again. We camped at Blue Sky Ranch RV Park (formerly Arizona Sands RV Park) (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.

Campbell Cove RV Resort, Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This park is by far not a resort. It is more like a parking lot, very, very tight spaces. Most people I talked with said they could not get their slides out. We don't have slides, but when we put our awning out and the next person put theirs out they were touching. The only row with a water view was a pull in, the rest of the park is a nose to back parking arrangement. There is no view anywhere other than that one row. You need to go sit on a picnic bench to see any view. There is a dog kennel that only works for small dogs, 3'x10'. We have large dogs and they could not even try to run in it. Also the pails for the dog excrement are not emptied every day. The manager needs training in customer service and hospitality. I waited at least 3 minutes without being acknowledged. There are many other parks in this city, I recommend trying one of them over this place. We camped at Campbell Cove RV Resort in a Motorhome.
