Homewood RV Park, Homewood, Kansas

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We were heading N on 35W just south of Ottawa, Kansas. Needed a campsite close to The freeway for 1 night. Saw their sign on the freeway. Took the exit indicated on the sign and turned left. After going less than 1/4 mile saw entrance. Office was closed but there was an easy self registration system in place. Pull-thrus were $29, back-ins were $28. Park is nicely laid out and landscaped with trees, grass and class 5 surfaces. We chose pull-thru site 15. Full hookups available with choice of 30 or 50 amp service at the post. Site was pretty level and the freeway noise was minimal. We would definitely stop here again. We camped at Homewood RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga, Rossville, Georgia

Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

We had a very level space (#4) with a picnic table and grassy area. We stayed for a full month and were pleased that we were given a spot so close to the laundry, showers and office. All facilities were modern and extremely clean. Wi-Fi was excellent. There is a dollar store and a Sara Lee bakery outlet across the street. The office staff was friendly and helpful. Clean and well managed park. Would definitely return. We camped at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga in a Fifth Wheel.

BECS Store & RV Park, Concan, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Bec's Store and RV Park is in a lovely area in the scenic hill country about 6 miles north of Concan, TX. Bec's is only a couple miles from Garner State Park and access to the Frio River. The campground is well shaded by beautiful oak and pecan trees and the sites are very large, well groomed and level. The managers were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. We would stay here again. We camped at BECS Store & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Comanche Motel & RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Please DO NOT confuse this crummy RV park with the much better Comanche Land RV Park. The Comanche Motel RV Park is located in a very rough looking area inside the town of Fort Stockton. This so called RV park is nothing more than a dirt lot behind the Comanche Motel. You can't see this from the street or we would have kept right on going. When we arrived it was getting dark and we were tired. The girl in the motel office quoted us a rate of $15 and said their rate included cable TV and Wi-Fi. We thought what the heck, it's only for one night. The girl's mother directed us behind the motel and we were shocked to find ourselves bouncing through a dirt lot that was rougher than a washboard. There was a lot of trash and debris in the area as well. There were quite a few campers staying there and they were quite friendly, however, we still felt compelled to sleep with a gun within easy reach. The only reason I gave this place a rating of 3 out of 10 is for the cable and Wi-Fi which worked very well. We camped at Comanche Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
