Magnolia RV Park and Campground, Kinards, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We only stayed one night. Easy access from I-26 (exit 60). There are many tree between the campground & I-26 so we were not bothered by road noise. Most sites are pull thrus. Roads & sites are gravel covered. Utilities were conveniently located. Campground is on well water & pressure is about 40 psi. They will be going on city water in the next few months. No cable tv, but we received CBS, Fox, & NBC networks with our antenna pointed to 10 degrees. WiFi works great. Because they can't get cable tv, the owners opted for fiber optic WiFi. We were told at check in that we could even stream Netflix movies on their WiFi. Most campgrounds don't want you to stream on their WiFi. Restroom & shower area was very clean & modern. The owners are very friendly & helpful. We will definitely return when in this area. We camped at Magnolia RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Inland Harbor RV Park, Darien, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We only stayed one night. The park entry is gated, so read the sign on the right side of the entry gate & call the phone number on the sign to get the gate opened. Once you are registered, you will receive a gate code. Park does not accept credit cards, only cash & checks. Park is clean & well maintained. Roads & sites are asphalt covered. Roads & sites are a little narrow, but we had no trouble maneuvering our 36' fifth wheel. There were also several large class A motorhomes in the park. Most sites are pull thrus. WiFi was a little weak at our site, but was useable. The 70 channel analog cable tv worked well & also included several digital channels. The location of this park is very convenient to I-95, but road noise was not objectionable for us. There are tall trees between the park & the interstate. Staff was friendly & helpful & we will definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Inland Harbor RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Paragon Casino Resort RV Park, Marksville, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Large park with concrete roads & sites. Most sites are pull thru, but there are some back in sites. All sites have a concrete patio with a concrete table & bench. There is also a trash can at each site. Main clubhouse contains bathroom facilities & laundry. It also has the pool behind it. There is also a second bathhouse toward the rear of the park. WiFi worked well. Cable tv is all analog channels. Sites #25, 36, 37, 49, & 54 do not have cable tv. You can also pick up all the network channels in HD with your OTA antenna. Shuttle buses to the casino run through the park several times an hour. The casino buffet is closed on Tuesday & Wednesday. Our rate reflects a Passport America discount. We camped at Paragon Casino Resort RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Terrell RV Park, Terrell, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 2 nights. Park is easily accessible from I-20 & Hwy. 80. Roads are gravel with a few potholes, however, the staff was working to fill & grade the low spots during our stay. We were in a long & level pull thru with well placed hookups. There is some road noise from I-20, but not loud enough to be objectionable to us. No cable, but good reception of all Dallas stations. WiFi worked well at site #20. There is a huge Buc-ee's travel stop within one mile of the park, at the same exit as the park. There are also several restaurants at this exit. Staff was friendly & helpful. We will return when in this area. We camped at Terrell RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

WinStar RV Park, Thackerville, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Exceptionally nice & clean park. Concrete roads & site pads. Pul thru & back in sites available. Our back in site was across the street from the bath/ laundry building. WiFi worked well. We picked up all the major network tv channels with the antenna aimed at 180*. By having a players card, you not only save money on your site, but you can also enjoy a free breakfast buffet for seniors on Wednesday & Thursday at the casino buffet. The staff is friendly & helpful. Our rate was based on a back in site with a players card discount. We will definitely return when in the area. We camped at WinStar RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Hidden Valley RV & Mini Storage, Ada, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is an update of my April, 2015 review. The entry road is now in poor condition. There are huge unavoidable pot holes just off the county road at the entrance. The road is also very rough just prior to the entry gate. Electric was strong & water pressure was good. WiFi was still a little slow. Cable tv has been upgraded to digital & now requires the use of a converter box. There is a very good selection of channels available. You can still hear train whistles at night. Card for entry gate requires a refundable $20.00 deposit. I suggest you make arrangements to return the card 1 day prior to leaving. The office is not always staffed during the day. The majority of the tenants still seem to be working in the area. We camped at Hidden Valley RV & Mini Storage in a Fifth Wheel.

Elk City / Clinton KOA, Canute, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park is conveniently located on the north side of I-40 @ exit 50. It is in a rural setting. The sites are located on a gentle slope behind the office, which helps block road noise from I-40. Most sites are pull thrus & long enough to stay hooked up for over night stays. Utilities were conveniently located & worked well. We were told the cable company was working on the cable, so it was not available. Last review in November, 2017 also said cable didn't work! We were able to pick up major network channels with OTA antenna. Staff was friendly & helpful. We would overnight here again when in the area. We camped at Elk City / Clinton KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tucumcari KOA, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We used this park for an overnight stay. Access was convenient from I-40 eastbound. Interior roads were easy to navigate. Our pull thru site was long & level & we didn't have to unhook. Utilities were conveniently located. We were not bothered by road noise. We would stay here again when passing through. We camped at Tucumcari KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Edgington RV Park, Alamogordo, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This park worked great for a 1 night stay. The owner met us at the entrance & led us to our long pull thru site. Site was level & utilities were conveniently located. Electric is metered & the nightly rate includes 20 kwh of useage. Any useage over 20 kwh is charged at 15 cents per kwh. We were over by 3 kwh, but the owner said to forget about it & just come back again. Can't rate park facilities due to just staying overnight. We will definitely stay here again when in Alamogordo. We camped at Edgington RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Valley Vista RV Resort, Benson, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Park is located on Hwy. 80 about 1.5 miles south of the downtown Benson train tracks. We were not disturbed by the train horns. Park is all gravel & located on a slight incline toward the back of the park. Some sites could be slightly lower on one side, but no big problem. Most sites are wide enough to park beside your rig. Utility hookups are conveniently located. WiFi is very dependent upon site location. Our WiFi worked adaquately during the day, but was mostly unusable at night. I must commend the lady in the office. We paid for one week & then decided to try to stay for another month. She was able to find us a site after a lot of effort. I only wish all parks had a dedicated employee like this. There is a lot of desert area to walk in right out the back gate of the park. Our rate is based on a monthly rate. Electric is included in your first months rent. We will definitely return when in this area. We camped at Valley Vista RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

King's Row, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older park that is clean & well kept. There are sites across the entry street from the office that back up to Boulder Highway. Our site was toward the rear of the park & we were not bothered by road noise. Our site was a very long pull thru with a concrete patio. WiFi did not work at our site. We picked up all the local tv channels in HD with our roof top antenna. Utility connections were conveniently located & worked well. The office staff & park personnel were very friendly & helpful. We will definitely return when in the area. Rate is based on a weekly rate + taxes + electric. We camped at King's Row in a Fifth Wheel.

Ridgeview RV Resort, Bullhead City, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

This is an update of my January, 2016 review. Manager was very friendly & helpful at check in. This park has been purchased by Colorado River Adventures & effective 2-1-18 will become a membership only park. I was told at a CRA sales presentation that the park would only be allowing members of CRA, Coast to Coast, RPI, & AOR. Apparently there will be no public rates or spaces available after 2-1-18. The park is all paved roads & gravel sites. Power pedestal is located at rear of sites, W & S are on the side of the sites. Sixteen channel cable tv works well. There are no sports channels available. CRA was in the process of adding a lot of landscape rock & metal art around the park during our stay. Rate shown is based on a monthly rate that is no longer available. We would stay here again when in this area. We camped at Ridgeview RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Silver View RV Resort, Bullhead City, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Park is located on a hill above Hwy. 95. We were in a backin site on the bluff with a great view of the Colorado River & the casinos of Laughlin. The wind blows from the north down the Colorado River valley quite often. You can certainly feel the effects of the wind on the RV! Our site was wide enough & deep enough, but a little unlevel side to side. Office is located in the back section of the park, so just follow the signs from the entrance off Goldrush Road. Utilities were conveniently located & worked well. The 23 channel cable tv picture was a little snowy & not very good for cable tv. WiFi was expensive & costs extra. We were informed of the poor quality WiFi at the office & chose to use our hotspot. The store & deli seemed to be well stocked. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Rate shown is $10.00 per day Coast to Coast + $5.80 per day in tax/fees. We would stay here again, but probably seek a site not located on the bluff. We camped at Silver View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Preferred RV Resort, Pahrump, Nevada

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

We were in a back in site that was sufficiently deep & wide for us. Water & electric connections were at the rear of the site so it could serve our row & the row of back in sites behind us. There was ample distance between the rows so that units are not backed in close to each other. The sewer connection was more conveniently located to the side of the site. The park has 2 separate sections. There are 3 laundry facilities in the park, one in each section & one at the clubhouse. There is also a wood shop, stained glass shop, & a sewing room. The pool has a retractable enclosure over it. The clubhouse is very nice & has a billiard room & a tv room. There is also a very nice koi pond near the clubhouse. Horseshoes, shuffleboard, & an exercise room are also available. No cable tv, but plenty of OTA channels. WiFi is only available in the clubhouse. The members are very friendly & have a lot of activities that can be enjoyed by everyone. The park is conveniently located near shopping & restaurants. We stayed 7 days on Coast to Coast. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to stay another 14 days on Passport America. Rate shown is an average of the 2 rates. The staff was very friendly & helpful. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Preferred RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Antelope Valley RV Park, Delta, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean park layed out in a triangle shape. Streets are paved & sites are gravel. Most sites are back in, but there are 5-6 pull thrus for overnighters. All back in sites have a concrete pad for a patio or parking space. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the water connections are located in the RV parking area. There is sufficient room for the rv between the concrete pad & the water connection. Wifi worked well. Laundry has 2 washers & 2 dryers. Cost is $1.00 to wash & $1.00 to dry. No cable tv, but we received all network channels in HD with antenna pointed to 75*. Park hosts are very friendly & helpful. We will definitely stay here again when in this area. Rate reflects Coast to Coast discount. We camped at Antelope Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
