Stagecoach Stop RV Resort, Rio Rancho, New Mexico

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Best RV park we've ever stayed in. Actually checked in a different Albuquerque park, and the next day drove north a little to see what Stage Coach was like. We immediately knew it was exactly what we look for, paid for 8 days, and moved in the next day. Beautiful views. Quiet. Clean. Large RV sites, all paved, many with landscaped picnic table areas. Manager is kind, helpful, intelligent and runs a very, very clean and efficient park. And we also decided to store our trailer here for four months, rather than drive it back to Midwest, because their storage area is on premises and also very neat and organized...not all jammed up like other storage facilities which often had a unit stuck in every square inch of space they had. Stage Coach storage is roomy, visible to the owners and not cluttered with junky vehicles like some other storage facilities. We camped at Stagecoach Stop RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Turquoise Trail Campground & RV Park, Cedar Crest, New Mexico

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Depressing and trashy. We had been looking forward to staying here for a week while we visited Albuquerque, but we're very surprised and disappointed when we arrived to see what a shabby, run-down place it was...so we chose not to stay. Their website makes it look ideal. It's about as far from ideal as I can imagine. Full of old worn-out RV's that appear to live there year round. Couldn't wait to drive out and get back on the Turquoise Trail road and enjoy a beautiful travel route! We camped at Turquoise Trail Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Caballo Lake RV Park, Caballo, New Mexico

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice, small, pretty RV park. Clean. Nice wide pull-through spots. Friendly host; well managed. View of Lake Caballo in distance; and path to walk to the lake, but would take more time than we had. Would stay again. We camped at Caballo Lake RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Leaf Verde RV Resort, Buckeye, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

Nice level sites, not concrete. Mostly snowbirds. Very nice dog park. Lots of activities. Nice swim pool. Lots/spaces are not wide. Significant Hwy 10 noise. Store sells many RV supplies as cheap or cheaper than Wal-Mart (which is only one mile away). We stayed two weeks; rates reflects per day rate at $150/week. We camped at Leaf Verde RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
