Our host was waiting in the office for us when we pulled in at 4:55 and very cheerfully checked us in: very appreciated. Got a lovely site: whole place looks clean and fine. And we'll be back! We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Pinto Lake Park, Watsonville, California

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

If you are looking for a reasonably priced RV park in this area, this is the only place. Don't expect any glitz here, but they do run a tight ship! They go out of there way to try to accommodate all guests and to make sure everyone is held to the same rules. It is a good base for exploring the coast from Santa Cruz to Monterey without the high prices of all the other parks around there. We camped at Pinto Lake Park in a Travel Trailer.

Morro Dunes RV Park, Morro Bay, California

A few questions to ask that we often don't think of. Not just what is the shape of the space we'd be expected to pull into, which is practical, BUT how close is the local Sewage Treatment Plant? Got here late, given a spot that was a contortion to get into, while there were other spaces that were open and much easier. Then there was this odor in the air which we thought was because we were given a "spot" next to the dump station. No: but didn't see it until daylight. We camped at Morro Dunes RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Parkway Lakes RV Park, Morgan Hill, California

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

I did not stay here! I called in the morning to make a reservation for a one night stay and was told to come on in, no problem. Upon arrival I was told they do not accept overnight, but would make an exception. I paid for one night, but after seeing the site which had garbage bags and a parked car blocking the entrance, I got a refund and moved down the road. We camped at Parkway Lakes RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
