Arrow Rock State Historic Site, Arrow Rock, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Very quiet with good access although you need to follow signs carefully. It is remote with closest services, shopping several miles away. Only 1 fully serviced site but water is close. Dump station convenient. Close to major former railway trail for biking & hiking. Great for quiet relaxing getaway! We camped at Arrow Rock State Historic Site in a Travel Trailer.

Las Vegas RV Resort , Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Extremely convenient to the whole area including Hoover Dam, the strip, shopping areas, interstates, etc. A great park with adequate space, terrific dog areas, lovely pool & clubhouse with a breakfast / lunch restaurant. Concrete pads with all services working. Great laundry rooms in several locations in this huge park. Would definitely return for the Vegas scene. We camped at Las Vegas RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

J & H RV Park (55 + Park), Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Very convenient to I40 & to eastern Grand Canyon entrance. Very tidy and compact but easy to park with many pull thru sites. Owners have rules with a sense of humor. Convenient dog park & dog wash. Park was very quiet in Oct. Sites dried quickly after heavy rain. Wifi was good and everything worked. A great park for visiting the area. We camped at J & H RV Park (55 + Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Larkspur, Larkspur, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $68.00
Overall Rating:

Park on edge of railroad tracks & I 25. Noisy all night! Very hilly campground on side of foothill. Sites vary but very few are level. A family oriented park so lots of kids driving golf carts & moving about. WiFi was OK but slow.

If you must stay in that area, pick a site up the hillside but check it out first! We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Larkspur in a Travel Trailer.

Riverside RV Resort & Campground, Arcadia, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2013 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

The Arcadia address is really misleading since this park is 5 miles east of I-75 at Port Charlotte (10 miles). It is about 45 minutes to Venice or Fort Myers. We only stayed 3 nights but the park, the staff , and the guests were outstanding. The best private RV park we have visited. It is primarily a snowbird park. Many activities and amenities available. We would return. We camped at Riverside RV Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Shady Acres RV & Camping Park, Fort Myers, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We only stayed 4 nights so the long term residents were friendly but reserved. The sites were small with limited parking on site. Remote parking seemed to be available. Wi-Fi was difficult to use and slow. Very pet friendly with good walking areas. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The camp is older but adequately maintained. It is close to Sanibel (30 min), shopping, and dining. A hard place to beat for the price. We would return again. We camped at Shady Acres RV & Camping Park in a Travel Trailer.

Road Runner Travel Resort, Fort Pierce, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This park was somewhat remote but quiet and well organized. It is mainly semi-permanent rigs with many cottages. Everything is well maintained and has many activities for everyone including entertainment on Friday nights. The transient spots were adequate with reasonable accessibility. We would return if needing to be near Fort Pierce or Port Lucie. We camped at Road Runner Travel Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Daytona Beach Carefree RV Resort, Port Orange, Florida

Overall Rating:

A great campground. Clean and tidy with very helpful staff. Accessibility is great and quite quiet for a main road. Well located for beaches, racetrack, shopping. Like most FL camps a high percentage of semi-permanent rigs, cottages. Will return if in the area. We camped at Daytona Beach Carefree RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

King's Kamp, Key Largo, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is compact but accessible for good drivers. Primarily used by long term (i.e. 4+ months) semi-permanent rigs and room/apartment renters. No site privacy available here. Not suitable for families with children. Great fishing boat access available. Low rates are greatest asset. We camped at King's Kamp in a Travel Trailer.
