Very pleased with the park. Close to San Antonio. Not a large resort with clubhouse lots of activities so I didn't rate it higher. Lot of long term folks. We camped at Braunig Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Texhoma Park, Dumas, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $5.00
Overall Rating:

Considering the price (donations), this was a convenient stop using the electricity that was offered. Loud trains but nice little park and walking area for the dogs. We would stop again if in the area. We camped at Texhoma Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very small park, however, considering other parks we rated it a 7. Convenient for visiting family and the amenities met our needs. We enjoyed our stay and would return to this park when in Gainesville. We camped at Gainesville RV Park (CLOSED) in a Motorhome.

Drifters Resort, Rockport, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

October 2012-March 2013 We stayed here in a Motorhome for the winter and we loved the people that we met here at the park. The Management & maintenance is always working hard to keep up the park and make improvements. The folks in the office were wonderful to be around and their customer service was stellar. Great doggie park, activities, exercise room, laundry room, showers and bathrooms. They have an exceptionally nice swimming pool but it was cold the majority of the times so we didn't use it much. We would have rated them higher, however, the cell phone service is bad because of the trees and the WiFi is hit and miss (more hits than miss). Depending on the site, Satellite is hit or miss as well. Most of the sites are spacious, but the trees can be a blessing in the warmer months and the colder months become a nuisance with leaves and sap falling. This year it was very windy while we were here and lots of dirt. It would be nice if the roads were paved with cement or blacktop. If you have dogs you have to wash their feet after their walks because of the humidity and the dirt roads. Monthly rates are great and the park is always booked. The cabins are exceptional and always booked as well. Overall this is one of the nicest parks in Rockport. We camped at Drifters Resort in a Motorhome.

Pecan Park Riverside RV , San Marcos, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful park, and the hosts are extremely helpful. Quiet park hidden among lots of trees. Great sites available. We are staying here for the month of September and are so pleased with the park. The river runs very near us, and it is busy on weekends with tubers and fishing but quiet during the week. Nice dog park, maybe could put doggie bags out for those that don't have them to keep flies/ants away from bucket. Swimming pool is inside, and we love it. Could not get Dish, but they have free cable and wi-fi, and all worked great. We would have rated the park higher, but they did not have exercise equipment, which would warrant a 10. All in all they offer lots, and we would definitely return. We are staying here a month. Enjoy this park. We camped at Pecan Park Riverside RV in a Motorhome.

Fort Bliss RV Park (Military FamCamp), El Paso, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Awesome park, and host was great at our arrival and very helpful. We were amazed at what a great park this is for military and their families. We were guests of our military son and stayed a month. The park is in a great location, and the upkeep is great. Love the pet area. Would rate this higher, but it did not have a swimming pool which would be nice in "hot" El Paso. All the other amenities were awesome. We will return. We camped at Fort Bliss RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Jamaica Beach RV Park, Galveston, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Price reflects monthly rates. Nice area across highway from beach. Management was great. WI-FI worked great. All amenities great, with the exception that the pool was not available because of maintenance all the time we were there. Close to Galveston, but far enough for peace and quiet. Sites are awesome and have plenty of space. This park is pretty busy so advise reservations. Definitely will return. We camped at Jamaica Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Conroe RV Resort (formerly Lake Conroe Park And RV At McCaleb Roa, Montgomery, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small park acquired by new ownership. The park is being upgraded and the site manager is very good to work with. It appeared at one time this was a long-term park and there are still a couple of long term residents here that could clean up their lots. This is why I rated this an 8, plus the lack of swimming pool and clubhouse. Overall, the park is well maintained, right near the lake and for the price, we would definitely return. We camped at Lake Conroe RV Resort (formerly Lake Conroe Park And RV At McCaleb Roa in a Motorhome.

Cicada Springs RV Park, Killeen, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very nice and real close to a community park. The new owner is converting this mobile home park into an RV Park. There are a few mobile homes left but eventually will be gone per the new owner. All the RV sites are spacious concrete pads with room for the RV and plenty of room for two vehicles or more. Owner was very friendly and gave us the Passport rate, plus discount for staying a couple days longer. There are quite a few RVers here, but it is a real quiet and gated community. This is a perfect park for us visiting family stationed at Ft Hood. We definitely would return to this park. I am rating this an 8 only because it does not have bath/showers or community center. I believe the new owners will turn this into a 10 rated park. We camped at Cicada Springs RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Pointe RV Resort, Canyon Lake, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this place and stayed here for 16 days. The park is well kept and the people are the friendliest. Lots of activities. We stayed in the front and had view of the Lake and had the most beautiful sunsets. Lots of deer, which we were allowed to feed deer corn. This is a Coast to Coast (CC) park, but they allow Passport America, which we are. No pressure on purchasing into CC. This is very close to New Braunsfels, San Marcos, San Antonio and other locations. Great park and I highly recommend this park and the price. We camped at Lake Pointe RV Resort in a Motorhome.

San Jacinto Riverfront RV Park, Highlands, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This was one of our favorite parks in Texas. The sunset was beautiful and the Lake Jacinto was right outside our front view. The staff was very friendly and the park was well maintained. We loved the pier and were able to fish. Lots of fish to catch. We did change sites which was a $10 fee after we had been there a week, but well worth it. We would definitely return to this park. We camped at San Jacinto Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.

Aransas Bay RV Resort, Aransas Pass, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Very nicely kept park and amenities and our site was concrete pad with nice landscaped yard. Lot of Winter Texans and mostly friendly, but there are groups that travel together. Lots of Happy Hours and some play instruments. Activities are posted daily outside, which was nice. The parks amenities are great. I rated this park an 8 because there were parks closer to fishing areas, which we like and other site seeing areas in the Rockport and Port Aransas area. We stayed for a month and paid $345 plus electricity. We camped at Aransas Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.
