Paradise RV and Mobile Home Park, Panguitch, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

The only important negative is the tight spaces. (e.g. To get to the back side of our camper, you must either duck under the slide out or go around your neighbor's picnic table right next to their front door!) LOL A week is $100 + tax. We extended our stay longer than planned. The rockscaping and gazeebo are fantastic. Met several really nice folks here. The little town has a decent small grocery store and several restaurants. Great inexpensive park to see all the Parks. We camped at Paradise RV and Mobile Home Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Ponderosa Campground, Swift Current, Saskatchewan

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We are full time RVers and stayed here for two days. The Staff is very friendly. This park is an older park as many are on the road, but is quite adequate. We traveled in Canada for 30 days and of all our Parks in the entire region, this park had the BEST Wifi system by far. This is not a resort park but found lots of shade and room for our stay. We would definitely stay again. We camped at Ponderosa Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Pammel Park, Winterset, Iowa

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

For the price this Park is in our top 20 campgrounds of 137 visited within the last three years. The Park from reservation to actual stay was pleasant, quiet and soothing. The Park sits atop a lovely Ridge "Devils Backbone" approx. 1000+ feet. Although there are not many amenities here, the park is very clean, has large sites and is sound. The Park, Camp Hosts couples were amazingly friendly and accommodating. This park in not far from the town of Winterset, Iowa and birthplace Museum of John Wayne. Additionally the home county of the "Madison County Bridges" which is not far off I-80. We can assure you, your stay here will be most relaxing and comforting. We stayed for 4 days in our 5th Wheel. WE WILL RETURN HERE someday in passing thru the area for sure. Thank you Pammel Park, IA. We camped at Pammel Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Franklin's Big Country RV Park, Abilene, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 4 nights. We were very pleased to locate this facility for needed repair. We called (no problem) were scheduled for service, told not to worry about late arrival, to pick a spot and settle up at appt time. As full-timers for 2 1/2 years we know quality RV sites and repair service centers. The Park was clean, safe, with large pull-throughs, all with full hookup. Not a vacation resort spot but was more than adequate for our needs. "Franklin's Big Country RV" was a fully equipped RV Service Center. The Staff was friendly and professional from call to job completion. The repair charge was fair. Having the Park and Service Center next door to each other was an added big plus. Location is on the East-side Abliene, TX setback off I-20. Abliene is friendly town. We would stay here again. We camped at Franklin's Big Country RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Refuge RV Park, Hastings, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Amazing, new, medium-sized park. All new sites with concrete patios at each site. Location is safe, quiet, and clean across from a pristine golf course and surrounded by a game refuge. The owner/manager is as personable and professional as one could wish for. The staff is working daily adding improvements and maintaining the area. The park is located outside of the Minneapolis/St. Paul areas with easy access to both including many activities close by as well. This is a good park for those visiting and sight-seeing the region. You will not have to worry about the facilities or utilities as all are sound. We stayed here about two weeks and will return to this park when we re-visit the area for sure. We camped at Refuge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Country Corners RV Park and Campground , Caldwell, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This park and area is rated in our top 10 of 88 sites in the USA, at this date. We have been full-timing 2 years now. For the money, the site, security, comfort, and professionalism can not be beat. The Manager's are amazing people and we felt as if we had known them forever. This park is also an easy drive into Boise, Idaho home of top bike trails entwined in campus life, rivers, and many site-seeing opportunities. You will not be displeased with this park and staff. I regret I did not write earlier. We will return to the Boise area for sure. Thank you and happy camping... We camped at Country Corners RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Pontchartrain Landing, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

The staff was very helpful and courteous both on the phone and upon arrival. We found the facilities in new order and clean. The cable was so-so, although we found enough channels via antennae. We would stay here again as the location and facility were very stable for our needs. The Park also provided a shuttle into New Orleans - French Quarters for $5.00 round trip per person. This benefit was greatly appreciated and far exceeded any need to drive into the crammed chaos of the French Quarters. We camped at Pontchartrain Landing in a Fifth Wheel.
