Junction/North Llano River RV Park, Junction, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We have been using this park for several years on our trips to Texas. The managers at the park have changed since the last visit We missed seeing them on this trip. We still enjoy this park. It is a nice place to stay close to town and I-10, but without all the noise. The spaces are a mix of long and short most have good room between. Several have patios with pavers and chairs and tables. The river is easy to get to from the park. We usually stay a few days and relax at the park. all the services work well, the WiFi is very good here, better than many parks. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We always make a trip to Lum's BBQ just a few blocks form the park well worth going. It is one reason we really like this stop on our trips. The Donut Palace on your way into town is a great place for pastry they make great Apple Fritters.

Broke Mill RV Park, Del Rio, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park in the country. Easy into shopping in Del Rio. The spaces are gravel, there is grass between the sites with some trees and shrubs. The sites are long, easy for staying hooked. The access to the sites are ok for big rigs. Nice space between the sites. The services are all good. The office staff and the owner are very friendly. We stay here when in the area because we like the location and the people. We camped at Broke Mill RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn), Terlingua, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We had stayed here a few years ago, we found that the park has been improved. The sites were fairly level. The park is still a gravel park. There are some trees and a little grass between sites. The park can accommodate big rigs and the sites are easy in and out. The space between is good. In this area it can get dusty. The park itself has good services and the WIFI worked well the first day but then they had system problems and was on and off the reminder of the stay (not the fault of the Park). There are facilities such as fuel, propane and a restaurant at the park. There is a small grocery and limited hardware store about a mile form the park. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountain View RV Park, Van Horn, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

The park is a typical Southwest park with gravel sites and roads. Easy access form I-10. The park is good for big rigs, some trees so satellite can be a problem in some sites. Most sites are pull through. They are long enough for big rigs. Average space between. The WiFI seems fine (we were close to office). All the other services worked well. Laundry was small but everything worked great. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Las Cruces KOA, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

The park is on a hill overlooking Las Cruses. The sites are a cement pad the roads are gravel. The pull through sites are close but easy to get in and out. The services are all good, WiFi was ok. It is quiet and the views are great. Access to town is good. You can get the park from I-10 without going into town. We use this as a base to see the area. The park is well groomed and all the sites raked after use. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Willcox / Cochise, AZ KOA (formerly Magic Circle RV Park), Willcox, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here prior to it being a KOA. Things are changing the new owners are adding new buildings and a new office. The park is all gravel the sites are easy to get into and have some room between the sites. All the services worked well, had good WiFi. The one item that was poor was the dryers did not dry very well. The road noise form I-10 did not bother us at all. The crew was nice and friendly and they had Blue Bell Ice cream in the office. We used this as a base to visit the area. We camped at Willcox / Cochise, AZ KOA (formerly Magic Circle RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Cotton Lane RV & Golf Resort (55+ park), Goodyear, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The park is a mix of RV and modular homes, mainly for winter longer term guests. They have all the amenities' and activities for the longer staying guests. The people are very friendly. The back-in sites are very wide and the roadways are wide. Getting in with a bigger unit is not a problem. We were staying only a few days and we in one of the few pull through that they have in the back of the park. This served our needs just fine. The pull through are narrow but long enough to stay hooked up or park in front or back of the RV. It can be tight with slides and awnings depending on how the neighboring rigs pull into the sites. plenty of room to maneuver big rigs. We would still stay again. We camped at Cotton Lane RV & Golf Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

The park is on the east end of the city with easy access from I-80. The roads are all paved. The Pull thru's are paved the back in's are gravel. There are more back-ins than pull thru's. The back-ins are angled making them easier. All the sites have nice spacing and are long with wih room. There are several small rental house's in some areas of the park. but not mixed with rv spots.
