Umatilla Marina and RV Park, Umatilla, Oregon

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The park is a part of the Umatilla Port and had a marina and park with a boat ramp associated wit the park. The people are very friendly and appreciative of your business. The sites are long and wide. All the sites are gravel with grass areas all around the park. The pull throughs are on the sides and the back in's are in the center area. All easy to get into. It is located along the Columbia River, giving you lots of views. This is our favorite place in this area. We camped at Umatilla Marina and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountain Home RV Park, Mountain Home, Idaho

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park asphalt roadways and cement sites. The roads are easy to navigate. The sites are spacious and plenty of room for big rigs. There is well maintained grass between the sites. The service's all have a fence around them so you don't look at your neighbors hook ups. All the services work fine. The office and field staff are very good. We always enjoy our stay at this park. We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Canyon Trail RV Park, Boulder City, Nevada

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here before, it has paved roads and gravel sites. The sites are long enough for your rig but most must unhook. All the services are good and it is close to town. There are a lot of long term units here some are here for the winter others are longer term but this does not create any issues all the is sites are well maintained. The only negative to us was the price, it seems high for this park. We have stayed before and it was reasonable in the past. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The roads and sites are all gravel, the sites are defined. The roads are good and easy for big rigs. The site length is good. There are some trees. It is easy on and off the I-40. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The one nice extra the park had a food service and will deliver to your RV. They have a menu and you can call in your order. Route 66 RV Resort, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a newer park and part of a casino. It is a great stop. The roads are paved and easy to maneuver with a big rig. The sites are wide and very long, all the sites are paved with a cement pad for the RV. There are tables at all sites. The services and good and in the middle. The WiFi is good.

The landscape is southwestern with each site landscaped with different colored gravel in a very nice sculptured look. All the sites are angeled both the back in's and pull through so any size can get in and out easy. The people are very helpful and check each site after use. For those that like casinos: it is in walking distance.

Even if you don't go to the casino this is a very nice park just to stay overnight or a few days. There are no long term campers as there is a 14-day stay limit. Fuel is nearby and seems to be priced with the other stations in Albuquerque. There is a club house, pool and exercise room. It really is one the nicest parks we have stayed. It ranks as one of the best Casino Parks we visited. We camped at Route 66 RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Lubbock KOA, Lubbock, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

The Park is off US 84 Northwest of the city. The roads and sites are gravel. some grass between sites. Many of the sites are lined with ties. The sites average width the lengths go from short to long. Most sites you will need to unhook if you have an RV over about 36'. The office personnel was friendly and very helpful. They had an indoor pool which is nice amenity. The WiFi is better than many parks (we were next to an antenna). It was a good stop and on our route. We camped at Lubbock KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Junction/North Llano River RV Park, Junction, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We have been using this park for several years on our trips to Texas. The managers at the park have changed since the last visit We missed seeing them on this trip. We still enjoy this park. It is a nice place to stay close to town and I-10, but without all the noise. The spaces are a mix of long and short most have good room between. Several have patios with pavers and chairs and tables. The river is easy to get to from the park. We usually stay a few days and relax at the park. all the services work well, the WiFi is very good here, better than many parks. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn), Terlingua, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We had stayed here a few years ago, we found that the park has been improved. The sites were fairly level. The park is still a gravel park. There are some trees and a little grass between sites. The park can accommodate big rigs and the sites are easy in and out. The space between is good. In this area it can get dusty. The park itself has good services and the WIFI worked well the first day but then they had system problems and was on and off the reminder of the stay (not the fault of the Park). There are facilities such as fuel, propane and a restaurant at the park. There is a small grocery and limited hardware store about a mile form the park. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountain View RV Park, Van Horn, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

The park is a typical Southwest park with gravel sites and roads. Easy access form I-10. The park is good for big rigs, some trees so satellite can be a problem in some sites. Most sites are pull through. They are long enough for big rigs. Average space between. The WiFI seems fine (we were close to office). All the other services worked well. Laundry was small but everything worked great. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
