Nevada Treasure RV Resort & Spa, Pahrump, Nevada

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This a very nice, well cared for RV Park. We have stayed here several times before and came back because we like it. They advertise they accept Passport America and that is one of the reasons we come here. However, this year at check in I was advised they don't accept Passport America or Good Sam discounts the last three months of the year. Not mentioned on their website or the Passport America catalog. Basically doubles the nightly rate. We camped at Nevada Treasure RV Resort & Spa in a Fifth Wheel.

Carlsbad RV Park and Campground, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

I guess this park would be okay if they only charged $20.00 per night. We were charged $37.40 a night with a discount. They say they have a indoor pool, but not now. Gravel and dusty and mostly permanent residents. Little on the run down side for the price. I guess we are just spoiled after our stay at Buckhorn Lake RV Resort in Kerrville, TX. But I guess their draw is they are the closest RV park to Carlsbad Caverns. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a wonderful park and we will definitely stay here again. This park is very clean and they offer activities for their guests. They have two pools, fishing ponds and tennis courts. We had lots of fun while we were here. We camped at Buckhorn Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Admiralty RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We found this park in the Texas Camping Guide after leaving another park that we left. We were very impressed by the cleanness of this park and the how friendly and helpful the staff were. The only complaint we had was that our space was under a shade tree and because of the time of the year we stayed here and the rain, our RV and truck were covered in falling leaves. The heated pool was a real treat. We camped at Admiralty RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tejas Valley RV Park & Campground, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We had read good reviews of this RV park in the Texas Travel and Camping Guide and decided this is the RV park we were going to stay in. However, when we pulled into the park to register the office was closed in the middle of the day on a Sunday. Sign in the driveway said to pick a space and they would come register us the next day. We pulled in to find a space and the park is old and unkept with gravel roads and spaces and weeds growing up around the permanent residents in the park. We pulled out of the park and found another RV park to stay in for a week. We talked to at least three other RV'ers at the new park we stayed at and discovered they had done the same thing we had, which was to pull in and make the decision to leave. I would not recommend this park. We camped at Tejas Valley RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
