Lincoln Road RV Park, Helena, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

The rate included taxes and GS discount. Due to excessive rains, a lot of areas in Helena were flooded, but this RV park was high and dry. All sites in the park are level and all over night sites are pull through. Hookups were good. There is plenty of room for walking your dog. Several restaurants within an easy drive. If in Helena again, we would use this park. We camped at Lincoln Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

Homestead RV Park, Kirtland, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park is very good for an overnight and in this area. It is basically a large gravel lot. The hookups were all very good. The owner was pleasant (also the town mayor) and proud of his park. There are some work campers there but all sites were neat and clean. The one draw back is that the workers get up very early for work and begin to warm up their diesel pickups around 4:00 AM. Good clean spot to stay when your tired and on the road. Restrooms and laundry were clean. If in the area again, we would stay. The rate included tax and GS discount. We camped at Homestead RV Park in a Motorhome.

St. Mary / East Glacier KOA, St Mary, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $66.00
Overall Rating:

This is our 3rd time to Glacier (2nd on the East side). We prefer the East side simply because it is quieter and has more natural beauty around the camp site. The view of the East entrance to Glacier NP is simply breathtaking. In our view, this rv park is the best available on the East side. They could definitely use more gravel on the interior roads and pads. We happened to arrive right after several days of rain which resulted in our coach almost getting stuck in two sites before we found nice worker helped us find a dry one. At the price you pay, we were a little disappointed that they would not allow us to select a site of our choice. There were few people there, and the site we selected we were told was taken. But no one was there all week. The campground store offers ice cream, a coffee shop and a nice supply of groceries. There is a field directly across from the entrance to the CG. On our first night there, we saw deer and a large elk herd (20+). We were there early in May so most everything was closed...St Mary Lodge, most of Glacier NP, grocery store, etc. However, having few people around enabled us to see at least 7 bears in Glacier NP, lots of elk, moose, mountain goats, big horn sheep. If in the area, we would come back again. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Motorhome.

Douglas KOA, Douglas, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

KOA rate w/o tax. This park is close to interstate but no road noise. Hookups were good; nice layer of gravel on roads and pad; easy to navigate interior roads. Level pads. Just enough elevation in the park to have a nice view of the area. This was an overnight stop for us and it met all our needs. We would definitely stay again if in the area. We camped at Douglas KOA in a Motorhome.

Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA, Sallisaw, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

KOA rate including tax. One of the best assets to this park is the involvement of the owners who live on site. We were through here a couple of years ago, and they have made a lot of improvements since then. Pool has been reworked along with the restrooms. They also put in several fully equipped "tiny houses" in addition to the KOA kamping kabins. Most sites are shaded, level and have good gravel. All hookups are good; and cable is being upgraded. Propane is easily available if needed.Really no complaints. Its a wonderful stop off I-40. We look forward to a good nights rest here whenever we drive through. We camped at Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Rate does not include tax. GS discount. The park is not really what we expected, but very nice. We thought it might be a little more rural (out of town), but it is located right in the middle of a small touristy town. If you have pets, their dog walk is amazing. At the back of the park is a forest which has trails. Its really great to find something a little different when walking your dogs. All roads were paved, our site was gravel with a concrete patio. Hookups were good. There are a couple of small super markets, but they are well stocked. We had a back in site which was adequate. The toad parks in an area next to the coach. No complaints. It was a good stay, and we would stay again if in the area. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Air Capital RV Park, Wichita, Kansas

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Rate includes taxes and GS discount. The entire park has concrete roads and level concrete pads. There is a nice stretch of green area in the rear reserved for all fur babies to walk. Each site had a nice grassy area which was maintained. It is easy on and off interstate; very quiet at night. We would stay again if in the area. We camped at Air Capital RV Park in a Motorhome.

Delta Ridge RV Park, Inc., Forrest City, Arkansas

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Fantastic over night stop between Memphis and Little Rock. It has few amenities other than close to interstate, quiet, clean, level pads with a nice quantity of gravel spread on the sites and roads. Excellent utilities and good, high water pressure. Grass is mowed and area well kept. Any long season renters keep their sites very neat. It has an odd entrance (drive through a shopping center). We will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Delta Ridge RV Park, Inc. in a Motorhome.

Grandview Campground & RV Park, Hardin, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

What an unusual experience. First the rate includes tax and GS discount. As stated in another review, you do not go in an office to register. A lady, who was outside, met us and had us register on a brick wall outside. We had a pull through reserved, but it was odd getting to it. We had to drive around to the back, drive through an empty site, and finally settle in ours. There 3 others who came in later which had to drive the same route through the empty site and then turn into theirs. Odd....The gravel pads were practically grown in the grass. The entire park had very tall grass. You can tell they bush hog it occasionally. Cats and dogs roamed freely all through the CG. The hookups were ok but a little distance from the RV. If in the area, we would not stay here again. We camped at Grandview Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Juniper Campground, Ririe, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The is an excellent location to view Idaho Falls, Jackson Hole and the Craters of the Moon. Located among miles of potato farms, this is quiet and serene. Junipers are very prevalent, thus the CG name. The RV park is also located on a beautiful reservoir. The CG manager worked hard keeping the park clean and mowed. Hookups were very good. We stayed here 1 week and enjoyed sightseeing and relaxing in the CG. If in the area again, we would definitely select this park. We camped at Juniper Campground in a Motorhome.

Shady Grove Campground, Seibert, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The owners go out of their way to keep their place nice and RVers happy. The sites have a nice coat of gravel and they are level. Utilities were good. Most sites have nice shade and we got satellite reception. This is a very small town (approximately 200 people), and the campground is in a neighborhood which makes it unique. It is a short distance from interstate but no road noise. The normal Eastbound exit is down due to bridge reconstruction. However, just take the next exit and loop back. BTW a nice 50's style diner is 1 exit west (I-70 Diner). The food was pretty good and a nice experience. The $30 included tax and a GS discount. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Shady Grove Campground in a Motorhome.

Albuquerque North / Bernalillo KOA, Bernalillo, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Rate includes tax; KOA discount. This is an older park but kept very nice. Owner was friendly and helpful with local information. Our site was quite level with a good base of gravel. Sites are rather close. One novelty about the park is a walkway directly from the park to a local brewery! We didn't go, but it seems to a hit with others. There is a nice fenced pet area so they can go off lead. But no grass! If in the area, we would stay here again. We camped at Albuquerque North / Bernalillo KOA in a Motorhome.

Pony Express RV Resort, North Salt Lake, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This rate is a GS discount w/o tax. RV park is really close to interstate but no road noise. It is an easy access to downtown Salt Lake City. This is a gated park with concrete roads and pads. There is a nice green area for dogs plus access to a gated trail ...Jordan River Parkway Trail. This trail is used by bikers, runners, those walking, and pets. Really a neat amenity. Very clean park and nicely maintained. We would stay again if in the area. We camped at Pony Express RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Archview RV Resort & Campground, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

Rate included tax and GS discount. The weather/temp is great in April. We didn't even need any A/C. Open windows at night. Nice layout and beautiful view of desert with 3 arches (from out site) and mountains in the distance. Yes, there was dust...it is a desert. There were off-roaders but no one drove through the park at high speed throwing dust. Everyone was respectful of the campers. We didn't know it when we booked in January, that April was their "busy season". That's mainly due to the summer heat. So if you like mile weather, try April. The RV park has a nice store well stocked. If we were here again, we would stay here. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.
