When going through Oklahoma on I-40 W, we have stayed at several other rv parks. This is the nicest in the Elk City area. The rate listed is for 3 adults. The help is extremely friendly and helpful. The RV park is nicely shaded and easy to navigate. Full hookups work well. Nice pool behind the office. They just built a huge dog park in the back of the RV park. Sites are very clean and level. The numerous shade trees are cut high enough so motorhomes/campers do not scrape the limbs. WiFi was excellent. They do have cable but it was fuzzy...used our satellite. We will stay here again on our next trip through.

The owner went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. Upon arrival we needed propane. The owner dropped what he was doing and filled our tank promptly (their tank is an easy access facility). The bathrooms have just been renovated and are very nice. The park has high shade but we had satellite access. All hookups were good, and site level. Cable was adequate. Area has several good restaurants if you want a night out. Nice dog run and a nice pool area. We will stay here again on our next trip through.

The campground is located convenient to I-40. All the sites are level pull throughs (some long) with good hookups. The WiFi is non-existent. The owner said it was our problem, because she had WiFi. She said the WiFi name should appear on our phone, but it simply wasn't there and could not be searched. Normally, this may not have been a big issue with us, but the owner bragged about it and we did need it that evening. The park itself is very dusty. The water is simply terrible. It is clear but tasted awful. So we used our bottled water. For those who use the bath house, the showers cost $2/3 minutes. Washer and dryer is $3 each. If in the area again, we will look for another choice. If you are stuck, it will work for overnight.

Excellent location to tour the Alpine Loop, Silverton, Mesa Verde, off road trails, etc., it will be hard to beat this. HUGE dog park (2 acres). Good wifi. The cable was fuzzy, but we used our satellite. Our end site had a nice big grassy area. It was great for Washer Toss! The laundry room is huge. The office features lots of local information, free popcorn, and small restaurant. The grounds are wonderful as they cut the grass continuously. We stayed for 3 weeks and would stay again.

Easy access to interstate for those one night stays. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. She quickly assigned us a site by phone. There were long term residents, but they were neat, nice, and kept their place clean. We did notice a storm shelter on site also. There was a WiFi issue while we were there, but the owner was working on that. The pull-throughs are at a 90 angle making it difficult to easily park a motorhome with toad. The biggest issue is while the 50 amp current is good, there is no breaker to turn it on and off. This means you have to plug in and disconnect "live".

Convenient located to interstate. Relatively new and the owner is trying to develop the park. Owner friendly and helpful. Park was clean. Gravel sites were level. Hookups excellent. Very good stop for an over night; owner recommended the Old Mill restaurant next to it. It is well known for its fried chicken, so we naturally had to try it. Without a doubt, the chicken was awesome. We would use it again if in the area.

Location is about 1 1/2 miles off I-85. Lovely, new park with very friendly owners. Each site is very spacious and level. Our site had lots of trees (trimmed high), level gravel pad, and excellent hookups. Under the trees were shredded mulch and vegetation to give you a degree of privacy. WiFi was good; good Verizon cell signal. This park is within easy distance to shopping, medical, grocery, etc. Its a real gem to find when on the road. This park does tend to fill up quickly. So if you know you will be passing through, I suggest make a reservation. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

The rate is a "cash" rate. This is a very good over night location just off I-85. We stayed here previously for an "over night" but had the opportunity to go into Piedmont for dinner this time. The Saluda River Grill is in an updated and redesigned cotton warehouse by the Saluda River. The town also was a quaint little town to drive through. Our rv site is a gravel site but level, hook ups were very good, and although we were close to trees, we were able to get satellite tv. The owner has a fantastic pasture you can walk, a pond, and even nature trails down to the river. Its a rather unique spot to find. There are some long term residents, but all were tidy. This campground is a 50+ park. We would stay again if in the area.

The rate includes a Good Sam discount and taxes. Our ranking is based on an "overnight" stay. The price is a little high for an overnight, but it was a nice park. Grounds were neat, lots of high shade, nice gravel roads and pads (level pads), and utilities were good. No cable was provided but we could pull several over the air channels and we did get satellite also. The park is conveniently located close to the interstate but road noise was not a problem. Owner was very friendly. We think some seasonal residents were associated with Ft. Campbell which was close by, but all were very neat. No messes. The pool looked like it will be a nice pool, but it is still in repair. We would stay again if in the area.

The rate paid is a Good Sam rate including tax. Large, level, long paved sites with good hookups. Good cable and satellite reception. Wi-Fi and cell phone reception was good. The view of the Arch was incredible. The shuttle to the casino was very prompt. The Arch is a short drive across the river. However, once you are checked in, you don't see any employee again. We don't mind train noise in general, but this was exceptionally loud and all day and night. You could also hear the city tram and interstate was extremely loud. Laundry was pricey: $3/wash; $3/dry. No pool at the park (however a nice green area was in the center). No grass or trees in the big rig area. Note: once you are out of the casino area, East St. Louis is a very, very rough area. It is a good spot location-wise to tour St Louis but pricey.

Good Sam rate. We rated this park an 8 as an overnight stay. There are 12 sites which are wonderful with concrete pads, paver patios, good utilities, manicured grass and flowers. The drawbacks are: no cable, no pool, no children's playground. The remaining sites are gravel but appear to be spacious. The owners are fantastic. The Country Store is a real treat to tour. Free cheese samples ...and what choices! We spent as much on the goodies as the site! We would stay here again.

Good Sam rate including taxes. You can't get a better "overnight" stop. There is fresh gravel on roads and pads. Sites are level; utilities excellent. Most sites are pull-through. Beautiful shade trees. The owners go out of their way to work with you and help you. They don't have cable (over the air works great), but they did pick a site for us where our satellite would work. They are continuously working on the grounds. If there were a pool and cable, the rating would be higher. We would stay here again.

This is a Good Sam rate. This is a very nice "overnight" stop conveniently located close to I-90 (no road noise). The park has lots of pretty shade trees, which is great on a hot day, but will prevent most satellite reception. There isn't any cable, so it is strictly "over the air". We did manage to get satellite, but most sites probably won't. The pool looked nice and inviting. For families with kids, there is a nice play area. For those of us with pets, there is a nice dog walk area in the back. Owners were very nice and truly seem to enjoy their park. They even had a sign boasting their 24th Anniversary at the park. Park is located about 5 miles outside of Mitchell where there is a WalMart and plenty of other stores that might interest RVers. We would stay again if in the area.

Rate is based on KOA discount. Our park rating is based on a "destination" location. The park offers excellent hookups, adequate spacing (far better than most KOAs), level gravel pads, beautiful cottonwood shade, and good 12 channel cable. The park offers some cooked meals at the office, but we didn't try them. The pool looked very nice and a nice size. Wi-Fi was good, but our Verizon cell reception did not exist for phone calls. There was just enough signal so we could text if we wanted. The park is conveniently located 4 1/2 miles from the south entrance to the Badlands National Park. We would stay again if in the area.

Rate is a Good Sam rate including tax. Nice location off interstate but no noise. Its a country setting just on the edge of town. Most sites had nice shade trees. The larger rig pull throughs sat high on a hill w/o trees. Sites were a good length, adequate width, and level. Utilities were excellent, strong water pressure, and good cable. For history buffs, you will enjoy a trip into town and seeing the Occidental Hotel and other historical sites. Campground is well maintained. Over all, it was a good overnight, but you could enjoy several days there. We would stay again if in the area.
