Location is about 1 1/2 miles off I-85. Lovely, new park with very friendly owners. Each site is very spacious and level. Our site had lots of trees (trimmed high), level gravel pad, and excellent hookups. Under the trees were shredded mulch and vegetation to give you a degree of privacy. WiFi was good; good Verizon cell signal. This park is within easy distance to shopping, medical, grocery, etc. Its a real gem to find when on the road. This park does tend to fill up quickly. So if you know you will be passing through, I suggest make a reservation. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

The rate is a "cash" rate. This is a very good over night location just off I-85. We stayed here previously for an "over night" but had the opportunity to go into Piedmont for dinner this time. The Saluda River Grill is in an updated and redesigned cotton warehouse by the Saluda River. The town also was a quaint little town to drive through. Our rv site is a gravel site but level, hook ups were very good, and although we were close to trees, we were able to get satellite tv. The owner has a fantastic pasture you can walk, a pond, and even nature trails down to the river. Its a rather unique spot to find. There are some long term residents, but all were tidy. This campground is a 50+ park. We would stay again if in the area.

The rate includes a Good Sam discount and taxes. Our ranking is based on an "overnight" stay. The price is a little high for an overnight, but it was a nice park. Grounds were neat, lots of high shade, nice gravel roads and pads (level pads), and utilities were good. No cable was provided but we could pull several over the air channels and we did get satellite also. The park is conveniently located close to the interstate but road noise was not a problem. Owner was very friendly. We think some seasonal residents were associated with Ft. Campbell which was close by, but all were very neat. No messes. The pool looked like it will be a nice pool, but it is still in repair. We would stay again if in the area.

The rate paid is a Good Sam rate including tax. Large, level, long paved sites with good hookups. Good cable and satellite reception. Wi-Fi and cell phone reception was good. The view of the Arch was incredible. The shuttle to the casino was very prompt. The Arch is a short drive across the river. However, once you are checked in, you don't see any employee again. We don't mind train noise in general, but this was exceptionally loud and all day and night. You could also hear the city tram and interstate was extremely loud. Laundry was pricey: $3/wash; $3/dry. No pool at the park (however a nice green area was in the center). No grass or trees in the big rig area. Note: once you are out of the casino area, East St. Louis is a very, very rough area. It is a good spot location-wise to tour St Louis but pricey.

Good Sam rate. We rated this park an 8 as an overnight stay. There are 12 sites which are wonderful with concrete pads, paver patios, good utilities, manicured grass and flowers. The drawbacks are: no cable, no pool, no children's playground. The remaining sites are gravel but appear to be spacious. The owners are fantastic. The Country Store is a real treat to tour. Free cheese samples ...and what choices! We spent as much on the goodies as the site! We would stay here again.

Good Sam rate including taxes. You can't get a better "overnight" stop. There is fresh gravel on roads and pads. Sites are level; utilities excellent. Most sites are pull-through. Beautiful shade trees. The owners go out of their way to work with you and help you. They don't have cable (over the air works great), but they did pick a site for us where our satellite would work. They are continuously working on the grounds. If there were a pool and cable, the rating would be higher. We would stay here again.

This is a Good Sam rate. This is a very nice "overnight" stop conveniently located close to I-90 (no road noise). The park has lots of pretty shade trees, which is great on a hot day, but will prevent most satellite reception. There isn't any cable, so it is strictly "over the air". We did manage to get satellite, but most sites probably won't. The pool looked nice and inviting. For families with kids, there is a nice play area. For those of us with pets, there is a nice dog walk area in the back. Owners were very nice and truly seem to enjoy their park. They even had a sign boasting their 24th Anniversary at the park. Park is located about 5 miles outside of Mitchell where there is a WalMart and plenty of other stores that might interest RVers. We would stay again if in the area.

Rate is based on KOA discount. Our park rating is based on a "destination" location. The park offers excellent hookups, adequate spacing (far better than most KOAs), level gravel pads, beautiful cottonwood shade, and good 12 channel cable. The park offers some cooked meals at the office, but we didn't try them. The pool looked very nice and a nice size. Wi-Fi was good, but our Verizon cell reception did not exist for phone calls. There was just enough signal so we could text if we wanted. The park is conveniently located 4 1/2 miles from the south entrance to the Badlands National Park. We would stay again if in the area.

Rate is a Good Sam rate including tax. Nice location off interstate but no noise. Its a country setting just on the edge of town. Most sites had nice shade trees. The larger rig pull throughs sat high on a hill w/o trees. Sites were a good length, adequate width, and level. Utilities were excellent, strong water pressure, and good cable. For history buffs, you will enjoy a trip into town and seeing the Occidental Hotel and other historical sites. Campground is well maintained. Over all, it was a good overnight, but you could enjoy several days there. We would stay again if in the area.

Rate was based on Passport America. Located within 5 miles or so of Deadwood. The campground sits on high land with no danger of creek or river flooding. All sites are gravel and level. Utilities are good. There is no cable; however, we were able it get 3 over the air local channels and Direct TV satellite reception (site #8). Phone reception is spotted (we have Verizon) and there is a Verizon booster in the store. At our site we got about 2 bars. The showers are very nice. Each stall has a private shower, dressing area, and toilet with locks. There were about 5 available showers. A nice convenience store is at the foot of the hill, plus a fantastic restaurant is located on site. They offered a 10% discount on your meal with a receipt from the convenience store. The menu is a wide variety; but don't miss Pete's Chinese selections! We would stay again if in the Deadwood area.

Rate reflects Passport America rate. This park was a nice surprise. The park is located close to I-90 but the noise is no concern. Our site is long, level and ample space between sites for our 40 ft with 4 slides. Grass is nicely mowed and watered. You can easily walk back in time to an Old Western town right behind the park. Some of the buildings are still in use. The Yellowstone River is very close if you want to spent some time there. We even crossed the river and toured on some back gravel roads to see some of the "real Montana". Very pretty land. We stayed here to tour the Beartooth Highway that is a long day for the whole loop, but what views!! We would stay here again.

This is a Good Sam rate including tax. We have stayed here before, but we were very impressed with their improvements. All sites are pull through, and they even added a new row of pull throughs. Excellent utilities, wide spaces between sites, good grass between each, and nice mountain views. The bathrooms/restrooms were newly tiled and updated. If you want a great place to stay overnight or to tour Butte, you can't get a better one. Its right off interstate, close to a truck stop for your fuel, and a family restaurant close by. We would stay here again.

Rate is a Good Same rate including tax. The nice part about the park is there are heavily shaded sites and some pull thrus in the open for satellite reception. Our site was in the open with beautiful views of snow capped mountains. All sites in the open area were level, gravel pull thrus of ample size. Utilities were very good including cable. We had difficulty with the WiFi though, but Verizon MiFi worked fine. The park was well maintained with adequate grass between sites. For those with kids/g'kids there is a huge playground with a really cute western city built for their play. The park provides a beautiful spring swimming hole with a floating swim dock for swimmers. The owners were very nice and worked to make our stay enjoyable. Kalispell offers lots of shopping choices including Walmart and Costco, shopping malls, etc. We would definitely use them again if in this area.

Rate includes a Good Sam discount and includes taxes. We had a pull-through with ample length and good distance between neighbors. Park roads are paved, grave pads, concrete patio with rock between the sites. The ends of each row had nicely landscaped areas but that really is all the landscaping. Park has young trees which adds to the appearance. Its a fairly nice park, but we were expecting more eye appeal for the money. Hookups were good, cable is great, but our Verizon signal is fair. This is a surprise since the park is located close to I-90. There are many units that are in rough condition in one area of the park. Not only are they long term, but seriously are in need of repair. We would stay here again, but would also look for a nice park at a better rate.

High price for what you get. We were given the "premium deluxe pull -through" which was simply a pull-through. Site was narrow, utilities were located at the rear of the site, so we had to disconnect anyway, park the coach towards the rear and park the toad in the front. The park has a lot of rules but they are not enforced. Vehicles are parked everywhere in the access roads in front of their vehicles. Some had as many as 3 vehicles parked in front of their RV. Others used unused sites for their vehicles parking. Most resorts water their grass during the night so it doesn't inconvenience their guests. This place "manually" turns on the sprinklers at various times during the day. Our site was watered between 8:00-8:30 AM. When we stepped out of the RV in the morning, we couldn't help but get wet.....we were wet, coach was wet, car was wet. The dog walk is ridiculous. One small patch close to the office or a ditch by the interstate. Like a lot of parks, there were several long-term residents, but most were neat. Cable was OK; cell reception was OK. This place was OK for an overnight stay, but there were too many issues for the money. We would not stay here again.
