Flagstaff KOA, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

If you are looking for a campsite an hour and a half from the Grand Canyon and close to Flagstaff this is a good spot. Tight back-in site, antenna TV, very good free Wi-Fi but no pool or activities. Friendly staff who moved us after we were put close to barking dogs. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Page Springs Park, Cornville, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, small river nearby. No activities. Stayed here as it's so close to Sedona and so many hikes in that area. Small back in site. Lot spacing was nearby with some shade. Site surface was dirt and features a picnic table. We camped at Page Springs Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Casa Grande RV Resort , Casa Grande, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in April and so went into the low season with BCAA discount. Disappointed that this is not an RPI park anymore as we have really enjoyed staying here in the past. Wish that would change. Lot spacing was very close with a sunny, open exposure. Site surface was asphalt. We camped at Casa Grande RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Dry camping in Puerto Penasco. Very good hosts, friendly and great information on the area. Beautiful seaviews. Dump station but nothing else at the site. Has showers and laundry. Will stay here again, after being packed into the other parks in the town. We camped at Concha del Mar Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Playa Bonita Resort, Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point), Sonora

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Tight back in sites and not all the same size so we had a rig park within inches of our awning. Nice staff, gave good advice and helped us with the nearby hospital. Vendors were in the park but very respectful if you did not want to buy or have your rig washed.

Hot tub was nice and a good clubhouse. Cheap laundry! We camped at Playa Bonita Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Twin Peaks Campground (NPS Campground), Ajo, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Great place for hikes, tours and taking in the star filled nights. Shame we couldn't get into the non generator sites, due to our rig size as the noise spoiled the fact that you are in a National Monument (park). We camped at Twin Peaks Campground (NPS Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Catalina Spa RV Resort, Desert Hot Springs, California

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We love this park and all the happy people that work and play there. But the park is looking old and needs a facelift, paint job, concrete pad makeovers and pool area clean up.

Lots of activities. We camped at Catalina Spa RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Villa Serena RV Park, Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We looked at other sites in Cabo and this was the best. A little ways out of town, but near Home Depot, Costco, Walmart and beaches to drive to. Large sites, full hook up and not bad wifi. $24 a night or $20 if you stay a week, which we did. Very nice manager, still trying to clean up after hurricane damage. We camped at Villa Serena RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Playa Santispac, Mulege, Baja California Sur

Date of Stay: January, 2015
Overall Rating:

Great ocean views, lots of space, no amenities, but dump site (no running water). Unfortunately the loud music from one of the bars spolied the serene evenings. Don't go if you want complete silence! We camped at Playa Santispac in a Fifth Wheel.

Great kayaking, small hotspring. Clean beaches and friendly staff with lots of polite vendors.

Mulege was close for very good wifi at a coffee shop owned by an American...really good coffee and food.

Pemex in town does not take credit cards...cash only.

Rice and Beans Oasis RV Park, San Ignacio, Baja California Sur

Date of Stay: December, 2014
Overall Rating:

Overpriced, but unfortunately the best in town. Full hook up. Pool needed to be cleaned, wifi was promised, but was not on for us. Restaurant had a good reputation in travel books, we disagree, overpriced. We camped at Rice and Beans Oasis RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

$7 - you get what you pay for. On the beach, no amenities. The dump was not navigable. Poor weather meant no wifi. Great beach views. Best looking campsite in town. We camped at Daggett's Beach Camp & Sportsfishing in a Fifth Wheel.

Motel Sinahi RV Park, El Rosario, Baja California

Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Large back in site with full hook up. Dusty site, but very friendly staff and good wifi in the restaurant. Becareful and get diesel gas here if going south, not many stations for a while. No ATM's, so we had to use our debit card in a local grocery store. We camped at Motel Sinahi RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cathedral Palms RV Resort, Cathedral City, California

Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

The last reviews were from 2013 and we nearly didn't come based upon those. I am glad we changed our minds! Nice staff, very welcoming, clean park, nice pools and good free wifi. Central to Palm Springs activities. Full hook up for $13 RPI rate. We were even invited to a pizza party before we finished hooking up. Nice large sites. We camped at Cathedral Palms RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
