Joy O RV Park, Denmark, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here as an overnight stopover. Great little park. Very welcoming check-in. Quiet! Even though other reviews spoke of horrible driveway conditions, it wasn’t really bad. We just drove slow and had no problem. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Make ya feel right at home!!! We camped at Joy O RV Park in a Motorhome.

Camelot RV Campground, Poplar Bluff, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

After a full day of driving, we were tired and this campground was the closest when we started looking for a place to stop! Quick check in! They take cash or checks only. Very pleasant and we were led to our site! She lined us up perfectly to accommodate our slides, and made set up quick and easy! Level lots and even though right off the freeway, very quiet. Great nights sleep and will head on tomorrow to complete our trip. Will always remember this place and would most definitely stay here again! We camped at Camelot RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Robin Hill Camping Resort, Lenhartsville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Rate was PA rate. Campground roads are very hilly, and several of the roads within campground are dead ends. Wi-Fi is probably good, if you want to pay for it. Laundry room was neat and clean with several books available for swapping out. Lots of permanents, but they seem to keep their sites neat. People who evidently camp here a lot during the summer, ride in their golf carts with kids hanging off of them and don't obey the 5 mph speed limit. Ladies in office were there, but seemed as if they were preoccupied and could care less if guests were in office/camp store. It is an ENCORE campground, and is probably failing just as the ones in Florida are. If I was in area again, I would probably search for another campground, due to hilly terrain. We camped at Robin Hill Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Niagara Falls, Ontario

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 2 nights while visiting Niagara Falls. First afternoon/evening our 'neighbors' across from us was 3 campers, for a total of 10 people. Seemed to be all family, but they took us about 5 or 6 sites with their stuff and playing all over. Their small children wandered off, but adults were too busy talking and drinking to notice. Nobody from campground noticed or even came by to check. Lucky for us they left during our second stay there. They weren't real crowded, and kids working in office were helpful, but seemed to like being indoors instead of checking on sites and activities of their guests. Site was pretty level. Wi-Fi was good, once you got the code from the office, so don't forget to ask for it. I had to go back to office to find out about the Wi-Fi. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Presque Isle Passage, Fairview, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Very pleasant and helpful lady in office. Gave us several maps with our site seeing routes highlighted to make it easier for us. Terrible weather, and the site we were given was a little soggy. Owner came and talked to us and offered us any site that would be easier for us, but we kept the one we were at. We didn't have any problem when leaving, but if we had, the owner said he would help us if we needed him, and I do believe he would have! Campground is a work in progress, lots more work to do, but you can see they are trying to make things 100%! We would most definitely stay here again, if in the area!!! We camped at Presque Isle Passage in a Motorhome.

Cherry Grove Campground, Wolcott, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here on our way to the Rally in Syracuse. I had emailed the campground to inquire about availability. Staff was more than helpful and we enjoyed our say, even though the weather did not cooperate. It had been raining on and off for several days, but sites seemed to drain fairly well. The laundry facility was excellent and clean. Some permanent sites, but they were all very well kept, and we met one lady that lives there part of the year while doing our laundry, and she was very pleasant and helpful in giving us directions and things to see while in area. If I'm ever in this area again, this campground would be on the TOP of my list. We camped at Cherry Grove Campground in a Motorhome.

Southern Gates RV Park & Campground, Arabi, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Rate is PA. Very helpful couple, they walked us to our site. Very quiet during the night. Unfortunately, through no fault of campground, the cable company dropped service to their area, but antenna worked fine and picked up several channels! Owners were very helpful in giving directions to nearest grocery store, and even gave us a bag of homemade cookies!! (Yummmm) Since it was just a stop-over on our way to Florida, we didn't check out the rest of the campground! It was adequate! Would stay here again! We camped at Southern Gates RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Riverbend Campground, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here as a Good Sam Chapter monthly camp out. Beautiful campground. Close to everything, but extremely quiet at night. Check schedule on website as they have gospel singing groups on Saturday nights. They also have a campground wide church service on Sunday if you choose to go. Any of our problems or questions we had, they were eager to help us. One thing that is good to know, however, they do not take credit cards, so check, Debit cards, or cash is the method of payment. We had a wonderful time and would like to camp here again!!! We camped at Riverbend Campground in a Motorhome.

Deer Run RV Resort, Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Not sure about rate. We received group/Good Sam rate. Very reasonable, even if I can't remember what it was. Beautiful lake. We used this campground for our monthly Good Sam chapter camp out. The owners were extremely helpful and eager to make our stay enjoyable. There are lots of permanent residential sites, but there is an area that is for in & out camping. Nice pavilion, cooking facilities, and a large playground. We enjoyed our weekend and will definitely want to come back for another camp out. We camped at Deer Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground, Asheville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 6 days and everything was wonderful! We enjoyed the view every chance we had even though we didn't have one of the "Premium" sites! Beautifully clean campground. Staff is friendly and helpful. Laundry facility is very adequate. We came up the road, with our toad attached, and had no problems at all with our 35ft Class A. The check in and check out times are situated so that the chances of one big rig passing another on the unpaved road are slim. It would help to follow the campground times for these 2 activities. We would definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Parnell Creek RV Park, Woodville, Alabama

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This campground owners are very friendly and helpful in letting you know what is in area. The campground is a work in progress and most of the work is being done by the owners. New campsites are being added. Our camping club will be staying here later on in the year, and we can't wait to see what all has been done. Camp store is very well stocked with items and crafts. It is a Good Sam Campground -- that's a plus! We definitely will stay here again! We camped at Parnell Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.
