Victoria Bryant State Park, Royston, Georgia

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

The rest of the staff may be ok, but the one we got to check us in was rude, and gave us the third degree. Sites are big and new, but nothing but red dirt surrounding them, no grass. miles away from lake and pool, golf course was well maintained so if thats your thing then by all means. Will not stay here again, not the best GA parks has to offer. We camped at Victoria Bryant State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Hart State Park, Hartwell, Georgia

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here two weeks and really enjoyed this park. Lake front sites, and plenty of room unless you are driving a greyhound bus! Busy on weekends, quiet during week. Park rangers extremely nice and helpful, regular patrol, very safe. Will come back again and again, best GA park we have seen yet We camped at Hart State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Ebenezer Park, Rock Hill, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, clean. rangers ride through regularly. Only one drawback, if you want a good site, you have to have a local or perhaps someone in the park to give you heads up. We watched for 10 days people putting tiny pup tents on the best sites to hold them for the rig to come in. Does not seem fair. Some of these tents sat on the site for two or three days. Rangers said tent same as rig as far as he was concerned (?) We camped at Ebenezer Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tranter's Creek Resort & Campground, Washington, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Park is clean , but no shade. Check in clerk kept us waiting 10 minutes while she was on telephone. She was rude and acted like we were interrupting her (no one else was in the office). She was offended that we were only staying two days. Did not give us good directions to site. will not stay here again We camped at Tranter's Creek Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
