WaKeeney KOA, WaKeeney, Kansas

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is the second time we camped here coming and going to Colorado for vacation from Kansas City Missouri. I would recommend it for a one or more night stay. The park was clean and open til 7PM. Management was friendly. We camped at WaKeeney KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Elk Meadow Lodge & RV Resort, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

I ditto comment on Aug 08. I rated this campground low because the management was not customer friendly. The few staff were more helpful and friendly than the management. I always got the voice message machine when trying to call them for more directions. Don't bother waiting for a return call back until the next day when the staff gets messages off. There are deep ruts in the road and in most of the campsites. We had a hard time getting our water hose on because of the poor condition of the hook up. We camped at Elk Meadow Lodge & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pammel Park, Forest City, Iowa

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Very pleasant park for a city park. Enjoyed the view of the Winnebago River, and golf course including the ducks. Lots of nice trees, walking trail, park for sports, and picnic areas. Electric only but have 8 dump stations at the entrance??? Spaces are back in, but can pull-through from the empty space in front of the other. Appears to have new 50 amp boxes. There is a Winnebago Surplus store close to the entrance. The park seems to always have space available. Nice park to stay for a get away and go antique shopping. We camped at Pammel Park in a Fifth Wheel.
