Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nice quiet site, convenient for Colorado Springs and Canon City area attractions. Wi-Fi OK but no cell reception. Phone provided in lounge to make free calls. Lounge room has huge TV and kitchen attached for guest use. Laundry small and machines could do with upgrading. Staff very friendly and helpful. Changes to sites have been made this year to make them better, and more changes are being made to accommodate larger rigs. We stayed a week, rate reflects Passport America and Good Sam discounts. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

No frills park. Great for visiting Bryce Canyon, and much cheaper than those sites closer to Bryce. Staff friendly and helpful. We camped at Red Canyon RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Pony Express RV Resort, North Salt Lake, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We chose this site because of their rules, but the rules are not enforced. Guy next to us worked on his truck until 11.30 at night, left dog unattended in trailer barking, not kept on lead when outside. Other guests walked between vehicles with their dogs, and drove wrong way down roadways. The concrete pad is not wide enough for slides both sides, hook-up was wrong end of pad, car pads should be at front of trailer not back, not enough room for vehicle. Lots of noise from road. We would certainly not stay here again. We camped at Pony Express RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice big sites, but Wi-Fi did not work except in office area. Rules regarding pets and quiet hours not enforced; dogs allowed to roam without leashes, noisy campers after 10pm. Would not stay here again. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sierra Trails RV Park, Mojave, California

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Back-in with full hook-up available, or pull through with water and electric. Price is PA-AM rate. Large pull through sites at back of park, no shade but very quiet. Clean restrooms. We were told Wi-Fi probably wouldn't work in pull throughs and we could sit in the laundry for a signal, but we didn't have any problems. We would return. We camped at Sierra Trails RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Manager came out to meet us as we drove up, guided us to our site and stayed to ensure everything was satisfactory. Large pull throughs. Alongside Hwy 95 so quite noisy, but we would stay here again. We camped at Beatty RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Raccoon Mountain RV Park & Campground, Chattanooga, Tennessee

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Rate is discounted for PA-AM, but still expensive. Restrooms need renovating, pool was filthy. Laundry was under renovation, weeks behind schedule, and filthy when finished. Staff unhelpful and disinterested. Do not stay here. We camped at Raccoon Mountain RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
