Richardson Grove Campground & RV Park, Garberville, California

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older RV Park with an old playground. Walking through the park is beautiful because it's in a forest. It's a no frills park and the hosts are lovely. We were in a pull through at the front of the park but the back in sites along the fence are spacious, quiet, and very shady. Would have preferred one of those sites. We camped at Richardson Grove Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The Redwoods RV Resort, Crescent City, California

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

What a beautiful RV Park. Huge redwoods throughout and walking through the park was lovely. The playground is huge and kids loved it. There is lots of green grass for kids to play on. $2.50 per load of washing so it was a bargain. The bathrooms were spotless. I would have given a 10 except the cable TV was snowy. Would recommend this fantastic RV Park. It's 7 or so miles to Crescent City but it's an easy drive along the highway. The beach is close by also We camped at The Redwoods RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Woahink Lake RV Resort, Florence, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Loved this RV Park. The owners/hosts were lovely and were always working outside maintaining the park. Trees were nicely trimmed and sites are wide with private hedges. There is no playground for kids but there are hundreds of acres of sand dunes directly behind the park. Kids loved the sand dunes and we were lent some sand discs to play with. Communal fireplace with wood supplied. Bathrooms were good and we would definitely stay again. We camped at Woahink Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort, Salem, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

What a fantastic RV Park. There is fast Wi-Fi and cable, a playground for kids, pool (which they were cleaning for the summer), and hot tub. Flat roads, grass and a picnic table. Showers are private with a toilet in each room and were spotlessly clean. Lovely staff and close proximity to Salem. We camped at Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging, Groveland, California

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This was a quiet RV park but it had lots of sites. Activities were not being run apart from the petting zoo which was only open at 8 a.m. and you only fed the animals the hay they already had. I felt it was overpriced for the time of year and its lack of activities. It was raining when we were there and our site was boggy. The nature trail is great around the outside. We camped at Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging in a Fifth Wheel.

San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA, Petaluma, California

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $67.00
Overall Rating:

Loved everything about this park except the price. It's too expensive for an RV Park. It's close to San Francisco and we did two day trips there. The playground is huge and very good. The petting zoo and the Jumping Pillow were also a hit with the kids. Shady sites, clean restrooms, paved roads and sites, grass around all sites. Also, all the staff were very friendly. Wi-Fi worked great, too. We camped at San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Dream Catcher RV Park - Escapees Rainbow Park, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

We planned on staying one night only but stayed for 13 nights. We were made very welcome by everyone and enjoyed the Thursday night dinners, Saturdays morning breakfasts, craft sessions and ice cream social on Sundays. We have two young kids and they were made to feel welcome, too. Laundry was huge, sites were good, and the park was very quiet (apart from the train at night but we got used to it). Lots to see in Deming including the State parks and the Gila Cliff Dwellings are worth the drive. We camped at Dream Catcher RV Park - Escapees Rainbow Park in a Fifth Wheel.
