Don't give out a 5 -star rating often but this place deserves it. Everything about this KOA was excellent. Extremely friendly staff. Very clean park. spacious with lots to do. We weren't able to enjoy the outdoor swimming pool or snack bar since it was too early in the season, but from the looks of things those features would've only added to our enjoyment. The indoor pool facilities were under construction but we were still able to enjoy it. We definitely would stay here again.

What you expect from a KOA. Staff was especially attentive and keep a very clean campground. Park adjacent to river, which is great for wading/fishing/tubing. Camp store could use a wider variety of items. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice park. Staff was amazingly friendly, polite and helpful. Large park with lots of room to roam. 2 playgrounds, fenced in dog park, plenty of activities and a clean swimming pool. We definitely would stay here again. What you expect from a KOA and then some.

If there is a floor in which to qualify for a KOA this place is it. This place was literally still under construction. From cabins to the camp store/kitchen. They just weren't ready for the camping season and for the price you pay that's disappointing to say the least. This campground has very little to offer. The staff however was very friendly.

I would've rated this campground higher if they had paid just a little more attention to detail. Perhaps April is a little early in their season to stay here because they didn't seem ready. The cabin we stayed in was dirty when we arrived and the park in general was in need of some TLC. The campground store offered little outside of souvenirs but there is a Wal-Mart located a short drive from here. Camp staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Our 4th time staying here. First in a Campers Cabin. Our cabin was well maintained and this campground is what you expect from a KOA. April is a little early in the season to enjoy everything this campground has to offer. Campground store has everything you need.

Very nice campground. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. April is early in the season to enjoy everything this campground has to offer. Camp store is well stocked. The little details that they pay attention to is what you expect from a KOA.

Nice campground. Convenient to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Trolley stops inside campground. Very clean heated pool. Friendly staff. The newer bathrooms were very clean. The older ones show their age. Lots of wooded tent camping sites. Store could use some variety. Price reflects Koa Kamper Kabin rate.

Nice big KOA. Fast and friendly check in at a well stocked camp store. Lots of area to walk around. Big pool and playground area. To have to pay to use the kids jumping pillow is ridiculous though. Camping Cabin provided linens.

Very nice KOA. Big clean pool. Big playground. Well stocked camp store. Great pizza restaurant within walking distance. Very clean place. The one negative that stood out was that I read over and signed more rules than I think I ever have anywhere else, but it wasn't enough to diminish their well deserved 10. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice KOA. Among the best we've stayed in. Large well stocked camp store. Clean pool. Big playground. Very nice restaurant on site with many choices plus ice cream. Free cookies delivered at night. This place has it all.

This is now the Honesdale/Poconos KOA. We did not like this park at all and would never stay here again. We paid the most expensive rate we've ever paid for a KOA cabin, and it was little more than a plywood shed that was old, dirty, and smelled. With a padlock on the door to boot. The people who checked us in were friendly, and they are a new KOA campground, but it doesn't meet the standards I've come to expect from that brand name. Gravel roads and sites, the pond is stagnant water, and the pool itself was dirty and filled with dead insects.

We enjoyed our stay here. The park is older and has an abandoned feel, but it's obvious that ownership is trying hard to bring it back. Staff was extremely welcoming. The pool was the highlight, it's huge, and day passes are only $2 a person if you're staying at the campground. The selection in the camp store was limited and the restaurant was closed except for weekends. The menu looked limited to basic grill items. Appears to have it's share of seasonals. Plenty of room to walk around, but still could use a fenced in pet walk. The cabins are very basic. We would stay here again, but in a motorhome or trailer.

We did not like this park. The woman who handled our reservation over the phone seemed overwhelmed by the process, and the woman at check-in was equally overwhelmed by that process. The RV sites are situated at odd angles, and they are packed on top of one another. The pool was small. The park is overpriced even by Estes Park standards. They purport to be pet friendly, but you will find plenty of no dogs allowed signs and no fenced in dog park in which to walk them. We would not return to this park.

Nice KOA with well stocked camp store. We enjoyed their pancake breakfast and their ice cream social. Lots of space between sites and in the campground. This place could use a fenced in pet walk like mosts KOAs have. Price reflects KOA member discount for Kampers cabin.
