This is a no frills, overnight type of park. We used it for two nights while we visited Palo Duro Canyon and saw the Texas Musical Drama. The desk staff were very friendly and I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the showers and bathrooms were kept. All of the sites are very flat. There are a couple of paved roads that the staff put us on, as there were some unseasonable storms in the area, so that we could pull on to the pavement from our site when leaving. We saw a wide range of small TT's to bus sized MH Coaches. Our rig is 50' total and we were easily in our spot. Will use again for layovers.

This campground is a nice, COE campground. My only complaint was the lack of effort to keep the bathrooms clean. We were in a rig with our own shower or I would have complained. Beyond that, this park is top notch. Shaded sites are available. Some are heavily shaded. Waterfront sites are also available. We were in a 38' 5th wheel behind a LBCC (?) so we have a pretty long rig. The following sites should be avoided if you have a long rig: 4, 7-11, 13, 30, 32, 35, 41 & 42. Sites 16-28 have heavy shade. Sites 0-15 are partially shaded 32-54 have little to no shade. A boat ramp is available inside the same park and equestrian sites are available in a special area. We will camp here again.
