Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn), Terlingua, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a Motel, cafe, RV park. 5 miles from NP entrance. Lots of empty spaces upon my visit but lots of spaces available. Plenty of room for my 33 ft RV and tow. Sparse trees, very dusty, no frills kinda stop with pull through full hook ups. Camping in the National Park is slim for RVs over 20ish ft but very nicely done. Close to the Terlingua ghost town and access to grocery and restaurants. No radio, or tv unless you have satellite but many had them. Wifi available only in the office area, an my verizon signal was 5 bar but would not work except on incoming or outgoing calls? An employee told me they had Verizon before and it would not work also, and they switched to a workable carrier. If I returned I would use this park again. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

Western Sky's RV Park, Vado, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Lots of trees, good space between sites, good lengths, elect. Ok, water ok (notices on office door that water quality problems sited??). Lots of monthly but not too trashy. Very dusty, lots of flies on my visit and lots of I-10 traffic noise!. Traffic circle entry easy to miss turn, need better signage. I stayed for 2 nights by necessity. Good overnighter however. Rain might make this place a mess. Mostly level dirt/sand sites with or without picnic table. Most sites are pull throughs. We camped at Western Sky's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
