Flaming Arrow Campground, Whittier, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The park single lane entrance is also the exit. Lot was a nice pull-thru. Cable was very poor. They fixed it once and made it worse. The told my husband to remove the lock he put on the electric box so that no one would steal our $140 surge protector. They also told him to remove our water regulator. They mowed the lawn today but never did ours and we were gone all day. Place to take our trash was a nice walk to the entrance?? Very disappointed in this campground. We camped at Flaming Arrow Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground), Ogallala, Nebraska

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest RV Parks we have encountered in a long time. Owners are so nice. They escort you to your lot. Everything about the campground is super clean and nice. We hated to leave because we not only enjoyed the campground but the area. I give Sleepy Sunflower and excellent rating - please try it. I know you will love it. We camped at Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Front Street was a nice thing to see. We went to the Crystal Palace Saloon on a Saturday Evening for Dinner and a show. It was spectacular! Petrified Wood Gallery is a must, and much more.

Manor RV Park, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

This is not a typical campground for Estes Park. It is old and in bad shape. Looks like a lot of seasonal lots with some old RV's and poorly kept lots. I would never recommend this RV resort to anyone. Our lot was like a swamp where we parked our truck. We asked for some fill gravel and we got road base. Our truck is a mess and I am sure once we pull our RV out it will be a mess too. It has rained every day since we have been here but it seems their maintenance people do not know how to take care of the grounds. For the price we paid per night it should have been an exclusive pull-thru site. We have learned a lesson - always get pull thru sites. They put us on a curved road site that was the lowest spot in the park. Pull trucks are all over which makes it hard to back into your site. We camped at Manor RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
