Great campground for visiting local attractions. Disney parks close and easy to access. Plenty of grocery stores close by for convenience. Campground was always clean and neat and folks manning the office were friendly and helpful. Family members stayed in one of the cabins and it was very nice. Pool and hot tub were always clean and well kept. Pet friendly. Off leash pet area was a nice touch. Highly recommended and I will return.

Owner has two parks on Rt. 44 along the river, Pouche and Sugar Hill. Pouche was full so I was directed to Sugar Hill. These two parks are about the only option if you want to tour the Plantations in the area. This park was a former FEMA park and is quite large. Wide open area with many folks living in their rigs full time. Many sites are grass and might be hard to back into due to narrow culverts over drainage ditches running full length of both roads. I ended up in a concrete pull through that I had to back into due to narrow drives. Utilities were fine and park was fairly neat. This is not a resort type park that you would want to stay in for a long period of time but worked fine for the plantation tours. Highway 44 parallels the river and is narrow and curvy. Good access to the one river bridge and Interstate 10.

This is really the nicest park in the area, and we looked. Excellent facilities, new hook-ups, good electrical service and excellent Wi-Fi. AT&T cellphone and air card worked fine. Owner has gone to a great extent to make this the premier RV park in the area. Beautiful views of the mountains and sunsets. Close to major river float companies and the Royal Gorge. Clean, neat, well laid out sites, particularly the premium sites. A few native trees, but the owner has planted several trees that should provide more shade in the future. This park is probably aimed at the higher end user, although there are some nice play areas for the kids. Nice area for walking your dogs, with doggy bags provided for free use. I understand the owner is going to install a new dog run. Fairly quiet although Highway 50 runs right in front, and it is busy most of the time. A couple of nice golf courses in Canon City if that's your interest. We really enjoyed our week long visit and will definitely be back.

If you're a golfer this is paradise, it's also great if you're not a golfer. RV park is right next door to the GC. Nice place to walk your pets, along the river. Park host was nice. Many activities planned along the river. Well maintained by City. This is a great base for exploring the Hill Country area. Really nice BBQ place in town. I will definitely be back here when it gets cooler for some more golf.

We were very impressed with the condition of this park. Everything was neat and clean. Pools were great. Tried out the golf course and found it to be well kept. Owners have gone to great lengths to place unique decorative items about property. Lots of kids safely enjoying this rural setting. We felt very safe and reminded us of the "good old times" where you could let your kids enjoy themselves outside. Of course it was very hot and we had to use the air conditioner. Voltage was good and constant. This park is a little jewel in the middle of nowhere and well worth visiting. We will stop here again.

We really enjoyed this park. It was extremely clean and well landscaped. Owners/employees were very friendly and helpful. Hookups were new and well placed. Long pull-throughs made for an easy set-up on gravel, level sites. Concrete patio area was convenient and equipped with a nice picnic table. Old red barn was very unique. Laundry and bathroom facilities were very clean. I would highly recommend this RV park for visits to the local area.

I almost hate to let out the secret. What a great campground! Owned by the City of Grapevine, this place is really well kept. Good security, lake access for boats, paved sites, etc. Lots of locals with the high price of fuel. Good place for families and pets. Lots of golf courses, eating places, and things to do within easy driving distance. Will make it a twice yearly trip.

Rate was 32.65 with Good Sam Discount. Lower rates available but we stayed in the "Deluxe" sites that have a grassy area next to it. I really liked this RV Park for a quick overnight stop. Casino next door with plenty of dining options...not much more in the area. Nice folks in the mini-mart/check-in office. We really enjoyed the Missouri Botanic gardens. Didn't have time to visit any more of the numerous sites in St. Louis. We can see the big Arch out of our window. Despite the East St. Louis reputation, this park appears to be very safe. I would not hesitate to recommend this one. Wi-Fi would have brought my rating up.

This is a perfect overnight stop. Easy pull through sites, nice country setting. Clean and neat. Fairly quiet. Owners are really nice. Highly recommended.

Very convenient for an overnight stop. Very nice management. Free continental breakfast. Mini restaurant on site with pizza, hot wings, etc. available. Pull through site allowed me to keep tow vehicle hooked up for quick overnight stop. Big trees would probably provide much shade in the summer. Cable was excellent with full range of channels. Free Wi-Fi worked perfectly. I would definitely stay here again.

Extremely convenient to Interstate, which might be a negative for light sleepers. On the plus side, very clean, neat, level sites. Concrete pull throughs so I didn't need to unhook the tow vehicle. Restaurants are within walking distance. Mexican restaurant was on site. Didn't try but it looked nice. Owners were some of the best I've met. They were present during the free continental breakfast to welcome travelers and offer a wide range of breakfast items. I would highly recommend this one.

This is part of the Tulsa Fairground complex. Basically a paved parking lot with hookups. No trees or shade. Very convenient when exhibiting or attending events at Expo Square. Office staff very helpful. Back in sites will not allow you to park your vehicle in front of rig because of length. You must park your vehicle in a designated area. Probably more designed for MH's. Kind of tight when full. Designed for max rigs in minimum space. Very bright lighting in the night. Appears to be in a fairly safe neighborhood. I would stay here again if exhibiting or attending events at Expo Square.

Park is OK. Looks like they are clearing a lot of brush in our loop: 1900, so it is not very attractive. Other loops might be nicer? Tight, tight. Blacktop pads but no room for any furniture, picnic table, etc. Very narrow sites. When stepping out of the rig you step on dirt. Dirt area behind rig for table, maybe. No Wi-Fi, no cable TV in our loop. I've been in better for the price. Charged an outrageous $5.00 per dog per night. I wonder what that money is for? Everyone picked up after their dog so what's with the charge? Not easy to get around in the Disney area unless you use their transportation. To get from the campground to the Magic Kingdom parking lot you need to drive a long way. Overall, it's good if you are going to the Disney attractions, but little else. Would stay hear again if forced to.

Our second time here. It's just as nice as I remembered it to be. Almost perfect. This is the time of the year to come. Empty sites everywhere, unbelievable. Quiet, peaceful, secluded.

Many more plus's than negatives. It is not a resort type, but very adequate for a day or two. Easy access from Interstate. Quiet, friendly office personnel, very nice dog exercise area. Pool was closed but looked to be nice. Wi-Fi worked good. On the negative side, you are really packed in here. Too close to open awning, but easy pull-throughs. Gravel sites, and close to your neighbor. Probably not a place to sit out and relax, but nice for an overnight stop, and to see the sites of Vicksburg. It is what it is, and if you're looking for a resort type place this is not it. OK.
