Smith Point Campground, Shirley, New York

Date of Stay: December, 2012 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

I called ahead to see if they were open year around. They said yes, but failed to mention on the phone that they turn the water off during the winter months. I camped here for a week and didn't have water. There was water at the main office that I had to transport to my RV. This site looked to be fun during warmer months. We camped at Smith Point Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Candy Hill Campground, Winchester, Virginia

Everything went well. Park shut the water off at 8pm and then turned it back on in the morning so the pipes wouldn't freeze. I stayed here for one night with no issues. Sites were easy to access and flat. We camped at Candy Hill Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Leesville Lake Campground (formerly Running Cedar RV Resort) , Gretna, Virginia

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed for 5 months and paid $315 a month for all utilities. Off peak season is cheaper. I was very satisfied. 1. It's very quiet and the other RVers are very nice. 2. Just an FYI: Trash is located at community trash dump sites throughout the community . There is a set of dumpsters down the street from the park. 3. There's a sign that says not to drink the water. Not sure why. The water didn't taste bad. The park is on a well system. 4. Never had any problems. Awesome camping! Thanks Running Ceder RV! We camped at Leesville Lake Campground (formerly Running Cedar RV Resort) in a Travel Trailer.

Kansas City East Trailside RV Park, Grain Valley, Missouri

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed at this park for a couple of months. The staff were pretty friendly. They had a change of management and policy while there with minimal affect on me. They did change office hours often and their computer crashed a couple of times where they lost my payment info. The park has pretty easy access to the interstate and good shopping near by. It is close to the interstate and you just might hear traffic, which doesn't bother me. We camped at Kansas City East Trailside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
