Got here in the middle of a wind storm so we were glad of that. Campground has all pull throughs and are adequately wide enough, but if all sites are full, your neighbor will be close. Because we were here in April, no green grass anywhere, but the staff was busy watering and getting the campground ready for the season. You are on a major highway, but our time here it was quiet at night. We camped here in a motorhome. If in the area again, we would stay. Rate reflects Passport, 50 AMP. In my review, campground is not valued for $60 full price.

Very nice campground on the south edge of town along Nebraska 61 from I-80. All states are pull throughs and are wide enough and long. Electric, w-fi and cable outstanding. Within walking distance of Shopco and Walmart (.5 mile). We camped here in a motorhome and would definitely stay again if in the area.

This is a gem to have found. There are 8 loop sites that you pull off to the curb side. Asphalt drive. All appear to be 30 and 50 amp. There are a few water spigots throughout and if you have a hose long enough, you can fill your tank right at your spot. Satellite came in without any problem. There is a sign that says "Please 3-day limit." On the bathhouse there is a slot to where you can put in a donation if you so desire. There is a dump but if you can drive up to it and then back up you are good to go. We would stay here again if in the area. Did not unhook towed, but you are within 1 mile to restaurants if you care to walk.

Quiet and spacious as no one else was there. There are about 10 50 amp and numerous 30 amp and smaller scattered all around the fairgrounds on utility poles. There are water spigots spread throughout. Dump is located on the north end of the fairgrounds behind the 4-H building. Look for signs. Payment is on the honor system and there is a slot on the west side of the ticket building. If in area, will stay again if nothing is going on at the fairgrounds.

Very nice campground. Only drawback is the train track across the highway. Big long pull-thrus. Owners are very nice. Nice store, clean laundry and game room. We will be back if in the area.

The appearance of the campground is very nice although there was a lot of construction going on. They were trying to fix all the holes in the gravel roads throughout the park. Most of the people who live full time in the park drive way to fast and did not adhere to the 9-1/2 MPH which is posted in the rules. We did not use the gym or pool but they both appeared to be in good shape. There are a lot of live-in's and they were mainly on the other side of the park from where we were. All in all, we would stay again if in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay:

We stayed four days which were 3 days too long. Campground is in very much need to get their interior dirt (sand) roads up to par. There were a lot of ruts which caused the motorhome to really rock back and forth while driving on the bad roads. Don't think we will return.

The lady owner who checked us in was very nice. Check in was very fast and she showed us to our long long site since we are 60' total. Nothing glamorous but served our purposes for the week stay in the area. Within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. We will definitely stay again if in area.

Check in was a breeze and the workampers were very friendly. Horse Motel had about 10 horses and we went and visited with them and fed them carrots. The owners were also very nice. Wi fi was very good. The campsite that we were on was not as wide as we had hoped for but it depends on which site you are in. Had some mail to mail, but they do not do that.

New owners so the place has really been cleaned up. Check in process was a breeze and the manager and maintenance guy were great. They have a BBQ truck on site (plans for putting in a restaurant), which the food was very good and reasonable priced. Good enough for a night stop. Best wi-fi that we have encountered this trip. We will definitely go back if in the area.

Wanted to only stay for 2 weeks but paying for a month was cheaper than paying for the weekly rate twice. Campground is big and lots of campers everywhere. Many full time residents (workers). No cable. WiFi only if you pay for it from your site. Hard to get on the internet because it depended on what was the time of day. Free WiFi in activity center. Hookups are at end of site so you have to use more sewer hose. Probably will not return.

There are mostly full time campers here as it is in a work area. All sites however, are in excellent condition and no garbage laying around. The owners are very nice people as is the office lady. We were able to stay in a site that allowed us to leave our tow trailer hooked up. Nice views and quiet. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This is an Escapee campground that is the headquarters for the Escapee club and also has a Care Center that helps members with their health problems. It is a nice park with lots of streets to walk on. The only problem is that NO ONE adheres to the speed limit and drive very fast throughout the park.

We have always stayed here on our way through this area. Nice campground and good food at the morning continental breakfast. Laundry and all facilities very clean.

We renewed our KOA membership and wished we didn't as we normally don't stay at KOA's, but it was the only thing in the immediate area. Everyone was very nice. Wifi and cable strong.
