Date of Stay: August, 2012
I stayed here for 3 days in August 2012. Campground was very nice- had a picnic table and slab for each site. Full hookups, nicely landscaped. I booked ahead for a prime spot on the water and actually got to camp there. (I usually get bumped to smaller RV spots at other places because I have a small camper.) I felt safe there; fishing was great. The road out goes straight across the highway and down to the beach. Will stay here again. Did not have any problems. Management had high visibility around park.

This is the second time i've stayed here. It is a beautiful RV park. Rates were pretty steep when we came: $75 per night (we stayed 2), even though the price on the website is lower, but this was the first week after school was out. It does have an incredible infinity pool/hot tub. All spots are paved, most with picnic tables, nicely landscaped. Very safe and gated. It's a pretty long walk to the beach. Stewart Beach can be very crowded so I'm not extremely fond of the beach access from this park. There was a wedding reception/party while we were here, inside of the park lobby and connecting main living area. The people were loud and drunk and men were using the women's bathroom. Other than that time, the showers/restrooms have been very clean and nice and the park has been quiet. I will return.

This is the nicest RV park i've ever stayed in. The lots, sidewalks, and roads are paved and the park is beautifully landscaped and safe (if you're inside the gated part that is) and there's no drive thru traffic. When i arrived i had to park in one of the 6 new RV sites that border along Seawall Blvd (hence the 8 rating). That street is busy and loud plus I had 2 kids and 2 dogs so i was disappointed that I didn't get to stay inside the safer gated part that was closer to the beach although I had booked 2 weeks prior and was told I would be closest to the water. I didn't have a premium spot or a picnic table, but the price was still the same. The pool area and bathrooms are spectacular though - nice and clean. Staff is very friendly. The park is dog and kid friendly. Internet worked great. I would stay there exclusively if I could be inside the gated part. (by the way, the new RV sites along the road are not shown on their website yet)

i have stayed here many times in my RV. I LOVE this campground. I wish they had sewer hookups and Wi-Fi but despite that, i will continue to stay here. It's very family friendly and safe. There's not a swimming area close by. You have to leave the RV park and drive around to the boat ramp to access swimming. They have a nice playground and paved roads to ride bikes on. The fishing is very good and most of the park is shady. Restrooms and showers are usually very clean. Great park!

Stayed here during Mardi Gras & it had been raining very heavily so most of the park was flooded. The sewer drains were overflowing so they were useless and water was standing at least 4" deep in front of my camper. My biggest disappointment was because I had booked a waterfront spot several weeks prior but when I arrived they bumped me to the back of the park to make room for larger campers & I was extremely unhappy about that. Other than that, park is okay. Pretty crowded spots but bathrooms/showers clean, office staff very nice. We have had very good luck fishing in the bayou that fronts the rv park. It's only minutes away from Schlitterbahn and Moody Gardens.
