Pecan Creek RV Park, Lockhart, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Clean park but watch out for the extra charges, I did not know there was a deposit expected until I was already unpacked, and I did not know there was a 3% charge passed onto me for using a debit card; he prefers cash. The Wi-Fi only worked sometimes when I was there, but never fear, there is a McDonald's nearby. You could not walk 2 feet without getting stickers on your shoes, pants, or if you had flip flops that was dangerous walking across the grass. I didn't like the "find out as you go" rules, I never saw that rule about the 3% fee to use a debit card until I used one. I think this owner is new at the park thing and is not user friendly. So read all the rules before you check out, Oh and I never saw any creek water etc. while I was camped there. We camped at Pecan Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Diamond G RV Park, Pettus, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

I am giving this park a 4 only because for the price $450 a month with no Wi-Fi, cable,, showers or bathrooms available. All you get is just a hook up to electric, water, and sewer. It's a new clean park. Owners are nice, but this is close to Beeville and if your coming to the area be prepared to pay, and pay, and pay, the oil field is here and they can't keep hotels and RV places built fast enough. So go on down to Corpus or Port A and enjoy the beach don't stop here. We camped at Diamond G RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Buffalo RV Park, Oakwood, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed here for August and won't be here for September. The wi-fi does not reach you unless you are by the office. The showers, washer, dryer, and bathrooms are not available unless the owner is home. There are no codes for entrance on anything, only one washer and dryer, get real! The manager is running this park on time off from their full time job. We camped at Buffalo RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
