Pheasant Ridge RV Resort, Wilsonville, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This obviously once was a very nice park. It appears that recently it has be allowed to go down hill. We were told the grass between spots was dead because of the water shortage. We have been in the Pacific North West for several week and this is the only park with dead grass. Our next stop 40 miles away has lush green grass. Some of the spots have nice chipped bark between spots, but most don't. Marker light are broken and lying on the ground. The park is mostly full of permanents who are allowed to place drying racks outside their units to dry their laundry. The roads are very narrow. We camped at Pheasant Ridge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Spokane RV Resort, Deer Park, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful immaculate park. Easy in and out. That being said this should be an adult only park. Children are not basically to do any thing. No bike riding, skating etc. Children are not allowed off the space without a parent in tow. Again a very nice park, but not really good for children. We camped at Spokane RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Southside RV Park, Dillon, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park is one of our favorites. It is spotlessly clean with grass between the rigs and several grass areas around the park. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We always stay at South Side when we are in the area. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The town of Dillon is, in my opinion, what small town America is all about. Plenty to do with golf and fly fishing. If you fly fish this is a great stop

Whispering Spruce Campground, Golden, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We were greeted by an upset unprofessional manager because we arrived 45 minutes before check in time of 1pm. We looked at our assigned site and found trash and basically a spot in the dirt. They advertise 50 amp but only have 30 amp electric.

Because of the way we were treated and the overall run down condition of the park, for the first time since we started RVing, we asked for our deposit back and left for another park in the area. We camped at Whispering Spruce Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground), Snowville, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The new owners are working hard to improve the park. They have improved the driveway added new tables, rebuilt the bathroom and now have some 50 amp spots.
We enjoy the quietness and darkness at night. Our 5th wheel and truck are 60' long and we still had space at both ends of the space. Very easy in and out. We camped at Earp & James Hitching Post (formerly Lottie-Dell Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Woodland RV Park, Libby, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is our third year staying at Woodland. Each time we return the improvements made over the last winter are very evident. The owner is on site and working every day. The park is very clean, well landscaped with level gravel sites. If you like fly fishing the Kootenai River is some of the best in the country. We camped at Woodland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mad River Rapids RV Park, Arcata, California

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

I rarely comment on campgrounds if I feel previous comments are accurate. I'm commenting on this park because of the electrical issues mentioned in previous comments. We too had problems with consistent power. Out power went on and off. I must be parked close the same fellow who told the previous camper that the problem was that he was a 50a plugged into a 30a box. I was told the same thing and told to go inside and throw the switches from 50 to 30 amps. I explained noting like that existed, and besides it is 65 outside and we are using virtually no power. When I showed him our Progressive Industries surge protector indicated the power was fluctuating between 105v and 119 volts he got upset and told me the park had no problems and it was our rig. Moral to the story, although the park is very nice, they do have power problems. We camped at Mad River Rapids RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Country Campground, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice clean family owned and run park. Large grass spots easy pull through and back in with wide road access. This is the second generation running the park. It is perfectly maintained with large concrete slab at each spot so you step out on concrete rather than grass. Hugh area to walk your dog. Free paddle boats on the lake. We would definitely return and recommend it to others. We camped at Country Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This was our second stay at Fish and Fry. We find the park to be clean and friendly. The owners and staff are very helpful. The spaces are large and easily accessible. If you don't care about satellite TV the sites under the trees are great. We camped at Fish 'N Fry Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This is very spacious park. The sites are large with plenty of room between them. A very large storm, locals say the biggest in 10 years, came through and flooded our site #75. It is the same storm that brought a tornado to Denver. After the storm cleared they were on the spot and brought in new gravel and we were back to a great site. They continually apologized for the storm! We will keep this park high on our return list. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park. One year old concrete pads and drives all pull through. Could use some shade. If you are fussy about your rig it will get wet when the sprinklers come on. We camped at Air Capital RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Circle The Wagons RV Park , La Veta, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This is a friendly quiet family run park. The owners are the best, and having recently purchased the park are working daily to make it even nicer. Deer daily in the park and a great dog run. Although there are no pull thru sites the road is so wide with sweeping turns that I easily backed in our 38' fifth wheel. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area. We camped at Circle The Wagons RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed 2 nights in March of 2012. We found the park to be quiet, clean, spacious with very friendly staff. The spaces are large enough to accommodate large rigs. The dog beach was great. The reservation system is excellent. We camped at Cattail Cove State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
