Tucumcari KOA, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this KOA for more than 8 times. Each time the camp hosts have been friendly and welcoming. Our site was always well maintained and spacious. The reception area has a small well stocked gift shop as well and necessary supplies for RV'ers. A BONUS. This camp is one of the few that provides us with a home cooked hot dinner as well as cook to order breakfast - all home prepared. What more can one ask for. We camped at Tucumcari KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Elk Creek RV Park, Elk City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very convenient park off I-40. It is primarily a "long term" camp area. It is very clean and the staff is nice. We have a 40' RV and found it a little too small to enter and depart. Other than that, it is in a good location and the staff is friendly. NOTE - no amenities at the front desk, so if you need any food or travel supplies you need to wait or stop before you get there. We camped at Elk Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful upon check-in. The park is clean and well laid out, there are activities for children as well as for adults and a function area if you want to have a family gathering. The check-in area has a well stocked gift shop as well as emergency RV supplies!!! IMPORTANT. We highly recommend this park for short term and vacation stays. Please go and stay - you will enjoy the welcoming ambiance - important also - Active duty Military get to stay free, important for us as we are both military and very patriotic.
