DeSoto Resort State Park, Fort Payne, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was awesome! Some of the nicest lots I have ever seen! Clean, well maintained, wonderful to walk around in! Plenty of room for large rigs with slides and still have tons of room without being right up under someone else (which is hard to find). Love Love Love! Only one thing could make it better, and that is if you had internet service at your camp site. Can't wait to go back!! We camped at DeSoto Resort State Park in a Motorhome.

Cheaha State Park, Delta, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I think this campground has some of the most beautiful woods and area but we were so disappointed at the quality of the campsites. We were here in early March and it was not crowded. There were not many sites for a big rig with slides, that were half way level that we could get into. This campground needs a lot of work for motorhomes! Hope that happens so we can return! We camped at Cheaha State Park in a Motorhome.

Noccalula Falls Campground, Gadsden, Alabama

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is really beautiful! My only complaint is the campsites are small for a 40' with slides. That's why I am giving it a 7. You would be almost on top of one another. Beautiful walking area. We camped at Noccalula Falls Campground in a Motorhome.
