Seneca Lake Park and Campground, Senecaville, Ohio

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

For a man-made lake, this place was sooooo relaxing. Very clean. Lots of places to eat and boat. Many 5th wheels are permanent and well maintained. We were there for a couple of weekend trips and the owners were very nice but not overly nosy. We are looking forward to more trips there. The only contact we had was with the guard at the entrance. Very friendly & helpful. The hookups and laundry facilities were very useful and user friendly. We camped at Seneca Lake Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Crystal Springs, North Ridgeville, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We affectionately call this one "Camp Wonderful" full of the noises of trains, planes and automobiles. The spider webs in the bath & laundry room spook you. But it was cheap and close to where we needed to be for home inspections. There is a pond, but we were chased out by one the mobile owners who said we were trespassing. Looks like they parked their trailers there decades ago and let the grass grow over them. The owners are very caring. The only thing for little ones are the ability to build a fire and roast marshmallows. We are now looking for an alternative! We camped at Crystal Springs in a Travel Trailer.
