Colbert County Alloys Park Campground, Muscle Shoals, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Quiet campground. Level gravel sites in open area with easy satellite reception. Wifi good, Verizon service 3 bars. Two Individual unisex bathrooms in clean block building. Each bathroom has toilet, sink and shower with cement floor. Campground premesis also has tornado shelter, playground and free boat ramp. Manager lives in home on property and is exceptional. We arrived two days late due to need for brake repair. I had notified him. He was extremely accommodating and never charged us for the missed dates while saving site #1 for us. His wife took us to see two birds nests with baby birds we could easily see (in cedar about 4 ft above ground serface.) We camped at Colbert County Alloys Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We would liked to have stayed for 4-5 days but didn't have the time this trip. Host was very accommodating when my husband wanted to change sites for more shade. Large, level, paved sites. Large amount of well groomed grass between sights. Convenient to town. Some full hookup sites, some electric and water. Most sights have cable. Verizon service 5 bars. Sites 1-8, 23-26, & 28-32
(Water, sewer, electric and cable) $35/ day.
Sites 9-22 (water & electric) $26/day
Site 27 (water, electric and cable) $29/day
RV wash/vehicle wash $10
Free Wi-Fi
Wood for sale $6.00/bundle
Sites have picnic tables and fire pits. All parks should be this good. Only negative: no pull thru's. We were here in a 39 ft motor home. We camped at Klint Safford Memorial RV Park (The Iron River RV Park) in a Motorhome.

North Bingham County Recreation Area, Shelley, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Outstanding overnight stay, close to Hwy 15. Water and 50 amp at each site. Dump station and entry road easy to maneuver with our 39 ft motor home. Sites level pea gravel with well groomed grass between sites. Trees are situated to provide shade but some need trimming as their annual foliage is too close in some sites. Bathrooms spotless with hot water in showers.

4 bars with Verizon, good satellite in our site #12. Model airplane air strip, replica general store, and barn for children and young at heart adults. Disc course throughout park. Schedule for sites at entry. Take an available site, pay by check and place in slotted door. Young outstanding family lives in home within park. They work very hard to keep grass well groomed and bathrooms spotless.Very helpful and accommodating. Nicest we have ever dealt with. We camped at North Bingham County Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

A/OK RV Park, Green River, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We knew from prior reviews that the campground is not a resort. During our stay there were 3 permanently stored trailers, and 1 permanent resident during our 3 day stay. Quite and very reasonable at $20 /night. All sites were clean with hard packed level gravel. Mostly pull through sites with some grass between sites providing water, sewer and 30 amp elec. 50 amp with water and sewer are back in. About one third of sites have trees for shade. We had a lot of rain during our 3 day stay, with no flooding on dirt graded roads or sites. Campground wifi workable. (Can't upload pictures). 3 bars with verizon and good satellite (Direct). Pilot fuel less than 1 mile away. Directions: follow signs for Green River State Park. Go past SP enterance. AOK on right 1/10 mile further. Arches NP and Canyon Lands NP 40 miles away. We camped at A/OK RV Park in a Motorhome.

This facility is wonderful. We camped in a 39 ft Motorhome. Entry road, and sites are paved. Sites are mostly level with shade built over each picnic table. Cement patios in main loops. Some loops have 50 amp power and water, other loops have 50 amp elec with random water spigots, and some loops are for dry camping. Dump sites are in two locations. Bathrooms with showers are spotless. Tent Rock's "Slot Canyon Trail" is spectacular and free with golden age pass. Fee is $20 per night but $10 with Golden Age Pass. Public laundromat and small market are less than one mile away. We camped at Cochiti Lake COE in a Motorhome.

21 sites. Amenities: E,W, Dump. Bathroom and shower very dimly lit but clean. Sites with electric have relatively

new 50 amp service. Sites with water are labeled "not potable" but office person said its well water so the city can't label it potable. Site with electric & water are $15 (we had no discount). Verizon 2 bars. Mifi slow. Some sites have shade shelters, no grills. Some sites have tree shade some complete sun. Roads hard packed gravel, sites fairly level. We stayed in site 13, in a 39 ft motor home with well water and50 amp elec. Our Direct satellite TV service excellent. We camped at Selma Park in a Motorhome.
