Bedford Creek Marina & Campground, Sackets Harbor, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

I gave this a 3 because I talked with 3 employees which were all very friendly and that is the only good thing I can say about this park. The majority of the park is occupied by full time residents that have made a mess of the area. To say it's rustic is too kind, it's just plan trashy. The price we paid included two days at full price and one day at PA rate. We will not stay here again. We camped at Bedford Creek Marina & Campground in a Motorhome.

Cherry Hill Park, College Park, Maryland

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here 3 nights, great location for seeing DC. Staff is very helpful and the park has a great attitude in general. All the utilities worked well and it was super easy to get DC by way of the Metro from the park. Also, there is a dog walker who is available to walk you dog while you are sight seeing and she does a great job. We would stay here again. We camped at Cherry Hill Park in a Motorhome.

Cherrystone Family Camping & RV Resort, Cape Charles, Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park was such a disappointment. Located on the Chesapeake Bay and friendly staff are the only redeeming qualities. With over 700 sites we were expected to park next to two of the maybe 10 rigs that were in the park and, because the utilities are so disorganized, we would have had to climb through their site just to plug in. Next site had a broken sewer and it was completed filled with dirt. Third site was better but not very level. I'm assuming that because this is a family campground this accounts for all the rules they have in place; way too many for adults. And lastly they say they're dog friendly and I guess if you keep Fido in your rig and only scoot him out briefly on a designated road to a designated spot that might be so, but that's not dog friendly to me. We camped at Cherrystone Family Camping & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Williston Crossings RV Resort, Williston, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2013 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park is a work in progress and when complete would easily be rated a 10. Although it is currently lacking services that are advertised as being available. We had a site in what is considered the new addition and the WiFi as well as the cable were basically not available. The laundry/bathhouse was under construction and the only garbage dumpster was in the front of the park - the better part of a mile a way. The staff was friendly and helpful. Laundry was small for the amount of RVers but all machines were newer and worked well. The park is located between Ocala and Gainesville where you can find large box stores and in town is a full service grocery store. If we came back through this area we would consider this park if construction is complete. We paid a monthly rate. We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park, Crystal River, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This was our second trip to Rock Crusher. A great park in a wonderful location. Cable and wi-fi worked great, AT&T was weak, and sites were spacious and level. Staff is friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this RV park for a stop over or an extended stay. The rate reflexes a monthly rate. We camped at Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lakeside RV Park, Livingston, Louisiana

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

We spent two nights here and the rate reflexes a Passport American discount. This park is clean with level concrete sites and patio. The antenna worked well and the wifi was great. Daily garbage was convenient and the staff was friendly. The reason I did not give this park a 10 is this. We arrived 30 minutes prior to "check-in" and were charged a $2.00 early check in fee. I don't care about the money, but I think it is lousy customer service! We had reservations and the park was not full. We've been on the road nearly 2 years as full timers and this is the first time we have encounter an issue when arriving at a park. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park, Vicksburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

The rate reflexes a weekly rate with a Good Sam's discount. The RV park is a good location for site seeing in the area. The most redeeming quality about this park is the staff. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. The park itself was neat with ample room between spots. However the way the sites are setup makes it difficult to get level. The cable didn't work as well as the antenna by itself and the wifi was iffy at best. I was disappointed all in all. We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is your basic campground good for an overnighter while traveling. Most sites have permanent residents, some in good shape some not. Wi-Fi worked good and the antenna picked up the local stations. We camped at Three Springs RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Mark Twain Cave Campground, Hannibal, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for two nights, rustic campground, level sites among large mature trees. Wi-Fi worked well and over the air stations came in clear. Friendly staff, but nightly cost too high for what you get, no discounts are offered. We camped at Mark Twain Cave Campground in a Motorhome.

Colony Country Campground (Closed), North Liberty, Iowa

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here two nights, price reflexes Good Sam discount. This park is located just outside of town in a quiet area and close to any store/restaurant you might want to find. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not use the laundry facility, but the restrooms are by far the nicest we've seen. Our site was relatively level and spacious. Over the air TV was good and the Wi-Fi worked well. We would stay here again. We camped at Colony Country Campground (Closed) in a Motorhome.

Tiki RV Park & Campground, Saint Ignace, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 9 days with Passport America membership rates. Our back-in, 30amp site was level with some grass and mature trees. The restrooms were clean as were the showers, but the showers are way too small for an average size adult. The staff was friendly and very helpful telling us about the area. The park has more of a feel of a state park rather then a parking lot. Lots of trees and walking paths through out. Good location and close to the surrounding attractions. We would stay here again. We camped at Tiki RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Pla-Mor Campground, Inc., Bremen, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a week, nice large campground. We stayed in the section furthest away from the seasonal section by choice which was all grass including our site. Relatively level and we had one of the few spots with shade. Each site has a picnic table, but management requests that you do not lay any carpet on the grass. The laundry facility was clean and everything worked well. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is a nice park, we would stay here again. We camped at Pla-Mor Campground, Inc. in a Motorhome.
