Older park, mostly dirt roads with pot holes. Sites are fairly level, grass with picnic table and fire ring. A lot of seasonal campers. Poor cell service (Sprint) and only about 5 tv channels. Gettysburg Campground, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

Came to Gettysburg to stay for a few days. Due to family illness we had to stay longer. The owner and his staff were very helpful in getting us a site as the park is usually booked for the weekends. Roads and sites are gravel with picnic table and fire pit. Pool, mini golf, game room, horseshoes and playground. Lots of kids on weekends but very quiet during the week in April. Also about 3 miles from the battlefields and attractions. We stayed here in a motorhome. We camped at Gettysburg Campground in a Motorhome.

Rondout Valley Resort Thousand Trails, Accord, New York

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We have been members of this campground for 29 years, the price per day without membership is $60 plus. We have seen it go downhill. They now allow yearly site rental and sale of cabins. Most sites are maintained but others are poor. Cable TV very poor, said they are upgrading. Water has a horrible smell. Grounds are well maintained. Restrooms are dated. We camped at Rondout Valley Resort Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

Stayed here as it is close to Charleston (10 miles). We were assigned a site in what appears to be an older section. Mostly permanent units. A lot of trees and no so level. The rest rooms and laundry were clean, the pool looked very nice and clean. It has a handicap lift. Staff very friendly. We would stay again when in the area. Forsyth KOA, Forsyth, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Older campground, staff friendly. Hilly terrain but sites are fairly level. Sites are dirt. Cable extra ($2) Wifi free for 1/2 hour then $5 a day. They delivered 3 free large chocolate chip cookies to site soon after we arrived. They have decent pizza and wings at a reasonable price delivered. The sites in the 100's do not have trees and would be good for satellite. we would stay again if in the area. Stayed in a motorhome. We camped at Forsyth KOA in a Motorhome.
