Pettibone Resort, La Crosse, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here many times in the past . Always had a good stay and this one was no different . Spent a week in site 314 . If you want wi-fi the best time is in the morning. Speed is good , come early evening we switch to Verizon My FI . Staff is pleasant . Weekends are party time yet the noise is never too bad . Only problem is there are very few places your dish will work due to the trees. We camped at Pettibone Resort in a Motorhome.

Easy access . Since we only needed electric and water we got a sit right up front making it east to depart. They deliver pizza to the sites and it was a good one. Very family friendly, all sorts of things for the kids to do. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

McGreer Camper Park, Big Springs, Nebraska

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of my favorite campgrounds .Small super friendly people. This time our fridge was on the fritz and we needed ice so the lady brought us ice from her fridge ! If they have extra and you are not leaving early you receive farm fresh eggs. Sites are level, grass, easy hookups . Have my own hotspot so I did not use wi-fi . We camped at McGreer Camper Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 10 days and really enjoyed it. We were here before the park was ready to open but the owner welcomed us anyway. We were in town to see our boy who was going to school in Canon City. Todd went out of his way to make us feel welcome and see he sights. We would stay here again. We camped at Royal View Camp Resort in a Motorhome.

Rancho Sedona RV Park, Sedona, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2006 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We are here while I am writing this post. I do not understand some of the negative posts I have been reading. We stayed on site 75 by the creek and it was huge! Since this site was reserved we had to move after three nights to site 15 which is just large. Wi-Fi working well at both sites. All hookups working well. Office personal, very nice and helpful. Played with our dogs when she met us walking them, etc. It is an old park and twisty roads. Our rig is 34 feet with two slides, 50 amp service, so we had a limited number of sites that could take us. They have a chart in the office for staff they lists what fits on each site. I was asked many questions when I called ahead and was informed as to which sites I could use. Customer service is great here! We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a great place to stop on your way west on I-40. Level pull throughs, two handicapped sites that are very nice. We used to stop in Flagstaff until we were forced here onetime by bad weather, never go to Flag again! We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have camped here for many years but never again! If you have pets you are not welcome any more. We checked in and were told that the owner was on a rampage about pets. Since we had stayed there in the past and he had played with our dogs I checked in anyway. Big mistake, as we headed for the dog walk he came driving up screaming that those *&%#@ dogs better not pee on the way to the dog walk. Then he took off. As luck would have it the little one peed on the gravel beside the road. He slammed the car in reverse and tore back to us screaming that we were evicted along with a lot of expletives. I told him he knew us etc. He just kept screaming and then left at a high rate of speed. The motorhome owner next door was outside and had his mouth open. He said he could not believe what happened, since he had two dogs he decided to ask for his money back and leave also. On the way to the office to try and talk to him, we ran into a couple we had camped with at the previous campground, they were flabbergasted at what had happened, especially since I had recommended the park to them. When we got to the office he had left the campground completely. The girls at the desk said he always does things like this and then lets them take the heat. Her daughter even got on her bike and went to look for him, no luck. This park claims to cater to vets, no way. I am retired military and my wife served 10 years in her own right, I am greater than %100 service connected disabled. This is not a friendly place! We did not stay here. We camped at USA RV Park in a Motorhome.
