Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins, Hungry Horse, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful campground build up the side of a wooded hill. Sites are gravel and ours was fairly level. Good access to the power, water and sewer. Enough room for our Toad, plus more. Spacious site. Nice picnic table and fire ring/grill. Easy access. Music and campfire on Wednesday night. Showers and bathrooms were immaculate and spacious. Close to the west side entrance of Glacier National Park. We will stay here again. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins in a Motorhome.

Countryside RV Park, LLC, Dillon, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in site 2 on both ways to and from Glacier National Park. Clean, nicely laid out, gravel sites (but compressed and level), decent water pressure, WiFi was OK. Showers and bathrooms were spacious, clean, and presentable. Campground is laid out in an oval. You can see your neighbors, but are not right on top of them. We will stay here again if in the area. Easy on and off I-15. We camped at Countryside RV Park, LLC in a Motorhome.

Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area, Lucerne Campground, Manila, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Nice open campground, Well maintained. The bathrooms were in the process of being renovated, so they weren't stellar, but getting better. Two concerns, no soap in the bathrooms and a separate charge for dumping over and above the camping fees. Neither of these was earth shattering, but annoyances. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Lots of Pronghorn on the peninsula. We stayed in a Motor Home and will be back again. We camped at Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area, Lucerne Campground in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $64.00
Overall Rating:

Nightly rate is what we paid our last night there; it's the "on season" rate. Park is clean, well kept, and easily accessible to the largest rigs. We had no problems at all with a 40' motorhome with a dolly and toad behind. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and took the time to talk with us about what we wanted. Very polite. Sites were gravel, but graded and level. Rest rooms and showers were very clean and nice to use. Cleaned daily and secured so they were not open to just everyone. Nice laundry facilities at reasonable rates. WiFi was okay. Considering the size of the park and the local access, it was acceptable. We did use our hot spot a couple of times. The park is right up front about the caliber of the WiFi, so this was not a surprise. We will go back here again and recommend it to our friends. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hitch-N-Post Campground, Panguitch, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. Roadways and pads are gravel and fairly level. Nice access on and off the highway. Owners have already made improvements since they bought the campground last year. They are starting some other water system improvements tomorrow. The park had clean restrooms, men's and women's and a nice laundry room with folding tables and a change machine. There was some road noise from US89, but the traffic was light enough that this was not a major detractor. When we are back in the area we will stay here again. We camped at Hitch-N-Post Campground in a Motorhome.

Mountain View RV Park, Arco, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Very Friendly staff. Nice clean park. Laundry and bathroom/shower facilities were clean and operating. Gravel sites, but no dust. Ours was long enough for our 40' fiver and a crew cab PU, just barely, but we fit. Shade trees on most of the sites, but not overgrown or encroaching. Breakfast was excellent, the pancakes look threateningly huge, but were light and delicious. We added meat to our free breakfast and were quite pleased. We will stop here again, worth the visit! We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. Friendly staff of workampers who knew their park and the surrounding area. Clean sites, restrooms, and laundry facilities. Reasonable rates for the area. Located off the main highway = less road noise from a major truck route. Sites were nicely sized and no problem fitting out 40' 5er with a crew cab long bed tow vehicle. One thing about sites, GRASS! Roads were gravel, but no issues with dust during our stay. We will be back again. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Fifth Wheel.

Utah Lake State Park, Provo, Utah

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Nice "warm up" weekend site. Good in spring and fall, a bit hot in summer. Fair bit of boat launch traffic and in warmer weather day use traffic. Close to town for those last minute items. Clean, open, affordable We camped at Utah Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
