This place is a gem. It is quiet and relaxing, the camp hosts were great. I loved being among the tall Texas Pines. You can't beat the price. We camped at Cagle Recreation Area in a Fifth Wheel.

The Vineyards, Grapevine, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This campground has to be one of the best campgrounds I have stayed at. The pictures on the website are accurate and not just a couple of the nicer places to try and draw you in. The staff is nice as can be, the restrooms are very clean, the sites are level and have nice shade trees. I can't wait until I get to return here. We camped at The Vineyards in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Livingston State Park, Livingston, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, loved the trees and natural feel of the park. I liked that it didn't feel like a glorified parking lot. It felt like there was some privacy with the space we had between our campsites. Not all campsites had such space between them, but fortunately for us we did. I would definitely recommend this park. We camped at Lake Livingston State Park in a Travel Trailer.
