Prospect RV Park, Wheat Ridge, Colorado

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We needed a one night stay as we were on our way up the mountains to a camphost job, and there was still a bit too much snow up high. The staff were very accomodating and got us a spot to wait things out. This is great in-city campground, with excellent access and good facilities. We'd definitely stay here again. We camped at Prospect RV Park in a Motorhome.

Colorado Springs KOA, Fountain, Colorado

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Way overpriced at $49 per night - muddy roads, non-working cable, and non existent wifi round out the situation. Would only stay here again if nothing else is available. We camped at Colorado Springs KOA in a Motorhome.

Hickory Hollow Campground, Utica, Illinois

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

One of the nicest Passport parks we've stayed at. Nice level pull through sites, good electricity, and great setting. The park was exceptionally clean. Would definitely stay here again! We camped at Hickory Hollow Campground in a Motorhome.

Hilltop Campgrounds, Goreville, Illinois

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Challenging entry for motorhome pulling a toad. Quiet, even though near the freeway. Level gravel site and decent electricity. OK for one night stop, but not for more. Lots of low hanging tree branches to scrape the top of the rig -- not really happy with that! We camped at Hilltop Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

San Felipe's Casino Hollywood, San Felipe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Lots of level gravel spaces and good electrical. Very little truck or freeway noise. As a bonus the travel center had the cheapest diesel we'd seen in months so we took advantage of it. Solid Verizon data speeds on our MiFi. The speedway is not operating this season so we also didn't have to contend with the traffic and the noise of the racers. Would stay again. We camped at San Felipe's Casino Hollywood in a Motorhome.

Benson I-10 RV Park, Benson, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here before and liked it, but this time was very different -- manager would not honor the $15 Passport America rate (which was both on-line and in the book) and insisted on $20. When we got ready to leave in the morning he started yelling at us because we had to run our diesel for 5 minutes to air up the suspension -- very surprised at his bad attitude. Plenty of other parks in the area to stay at as this is our last time here. We camped at Benson I-10 RV Park in a Motorhome.
