Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground), Ogallala, Nebraska
Date of Stay:
April, 2017 -
$33.00
Overall Rating:
As many people have mentioned before, the owners of this rv park are extremely friendly and helpful. We have stayed here several times and they always made us feel welcome. Sites are level gravel. Spacious enough to open slides on both sides. Water pressure was good. Bathrooms clean. Rv park is close to the interstate but the road noise never bothered us. Owners are always out and about making the park looks nice and secure. There is a little playground for the kids. Small dog park on the north end. We camped at Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground) in a Motorhome.

Area's Finest Country View Campground, Ogallala, Nebraska
Date of Stay:
April, 2013 -
$35.00
Overall Rating:
Cant say enough good things about this place. It really is a hidden gem. We always camp here for our vacations at Lake McConoughy. So much quieter than Van's. and much easier drive than Eagleview. All of the sites are level and long. We easily fit two cars, trailer, and boat into one spot. Owners are fantastic and friendly. They are always patrolling around making sure everything is good. Takes only 15-20 minutes to get to Big Mac from this place but its a nice easy drive. The only single negative i can think of is that it is located near a big farm machine storage place so you will occasionally hear a big tractor roll by but I guess that's why they call it country. We camped at Area's Finest Country View Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Cherry Creek State Park, Aurora, Colorado
Date of Stay:
April, 2012 -
$24.00
Overall Rating:
This was our first trip with our travel trailer. Campground was very nice. Water/electric/sewer all worked great. Very quiet at night even though we were close to the major road. Park care takers frequently drove around to check on things. I really appreciated that for my family. Camp site was level. Spacious and spread out nice and evenly. I would definitely camp here again. We camped at Cherry Creek State Park in a Travel Trailer.
