We've stayed at Jude Travel Park before and have since upgraded to a 41' with 4 slides. Can't say enough about this clean and cozy park. We had no problems parking with tow car parked directly in front of our rig. The Jazz Festival Good Sam rates are only $10.00 more than the regular Good Sam rate. Owners are extremely helpful with festival, downtown parking, and restaurant info and the shuttle is still only $5.00. It's a gated park with good WiFi- the park is kept neat and clean (including an older motor home on premise that houses a couple less fortunate than ourselves.) The bathrooms are immaculate!! We decided to stay a few extra days as we map out our next leg.

Good view from site. Bathrooms were rough but it is a State campground. Had problem with neighboring dog. Campground host wasn't much interested but said he would report it. One strange rule is the additional vehicle fee. If you don't tow your car in you are charged an extra $10.00. We leave small footprint with only a 24.5 foot rig but choose not to tow our car and for that fee was $24.00 a night. We could have hooked up the car right at the entrance (as reported to u by ranger) or pretended to do so but seems like a bit much and we like to support the state campgrounds.

Rate based on one month stay. Great Find. Owners are friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable with itineraries and bus routes. Bus stops right in front or I just took their shuttle to French Market for $5.00 (each way). Clean bathroom and shower facilities, nice pool and hot tub for relaxing. Everything is included in price. Wi-Fi, full hook-up and cable… really nice place. Also, they threw a complimentary crawfish boil on Easter. Nice touch for being away during holiday. Like a second family! Owners go beyond the extra mile. Will return next time I'm in New Orleans.
