Nice RV Park. Friendly and helpful staff. We met friends there and staff worked in friends in really close to our space. We will return.

New RV Park (with RV Storage available). Very friendly RV Park staff. Rates good. Security gates with access code for entry after hours. Nice laundry and showers on-site. Always cleaned during our stay. Not much shade being a new RV park. Park was very clean and tidy. Lake for fishing. Nice size swimming pool. Dog wash station. Propane and free air. Nice size concrete RV Pads with all concrete roads. Nice landscaping. Pets are not allowed in the RV park. They must be walked in an open field (high grass and lots of trash was in field while we were there). Great layout makes driving around and backing into spaces very easy. That area needed a good RV Park. Close by two highways.

Very nice state park. Our first state park visit in North Dakota and we are impressed. Park is really large with large RV spaces as well. Showers and restrooms some of the cleanest we have saw. Staff always out mowing and cleaning up. Rates are great. $17 for non electric and $20 for electric. Lots of things for the kids to do here also. They just built a new 5 stall dump station (free if staying at park). Park Rangers always driving around and friendly to talk to. Felt very safe. Lots of trees for shade and many spaces are on the lake.

Reservations recommended for this park. We decided to try the park based on the good reviews. Its a great place. Great layout makes it easy for even big RVs towing trailer. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Even had park host stop by twice to make sure everything was good. Clean laundry and showers. Kids enjoyed it as much as we did. Sites level and have privacy between spaces.

My wife called to get the rates for 30 amp and see if space was available. They said yes and we headed that way. Once we got there (20 min later), they said they had no 30 amp sites and we would have to pay for 50 amp site. Sites on very unlevel rock. Spaces very tight. Small laundry room. Staff not friendly. In the section we were in had a porta potty (regular restrooms were available by the office). Internet was free and was OK. Great location. Lots of rules that most do not follow. Sewer located almost at the front of each space.

Parking is tight for larger RVs. We have a 45 foot RV and only a few spaces will work. We stayed here a few times years ago. Things are pretty much the same. Staff in park friendly and the managers or owners that work in the office is more than helpful. Park layout is good. Park has always been clean and tidy. We will start staying here again when in the Denton/Frisco area.

Our review is close to the other review. Great location, right on the ocean. Kids loved seeing the ferry come in and out. Electric and water sites is $29...other sites are $22. Nice clean restrooms and showers. No dump station on site, but there is one close by and there is no charge with a receipt from campground. The close by town has everything. Park clean and well kept. Easy to back into. Best thing about this park is the park host. Very friendly and helpful. Great spokeswomen for the state of Washington.

Great RV Park. One of the friendliest and most helpful owners we have met in a long time. Great rate. Park was very clean. New enclosed dog area. Free cable and internet (fast too). Super clean showers and restroom. Kids play area. Great layout allowing all spaces to be easy to back into. Nice views also. Will return.

Not a lot of choice in the area. Basic RV park. Friendly staff. Sites close together. Water did not work at first space, so just used a longer hose. Someone was over quick to look at it and within a few hours the problem was fixed. I will stay again when in the area. Fair price.

My first time to a KOA. I was impressed. Lots of stuff for the kids to do. They loved it and wanted to stay longer. Hopefully all KOAs are like this. Friendly staff. Clean laundry. Great price for overnight. fishing, mini golf, horse shoes, swimming, volleyball, play ground, 2 enclosed dog areas, farm animals for kids to see, and I am sure more. Almost all lots had some type of shade, most had full shade. Nice pull through at same price. Friendly people staying there. No junky permanents! Park clean and well run.

Nice RV park. Well run by owner and/or management. Special rate is $20 per night plus tax. Park is on 3 levels. 2 levels overlook the lake. Most have shade. Pull-throughs and easy level back-ins. Restaurant, casino, gas station, general store all within walking distance. Friendly staff. Lots of picnic tables and BBQ pits. Internet is free so I will not mention how slow it is. (lol). Will stay again for sure when in the area.

$35 for regular site (RV and Tent same price), on the river $50. Dry camping only with free dump station at the entrance. A really nice state park. Sites are close together. Friendly staff and rangers. Laundry and showers pretty clean considering the amount of people using them.

Nice small RV park within walking distance (maybe 200 yards) to the ocean. Dog friendly beach on one side and ATVs and 4 wheel drive trucks on the other side. Sites are average size for small RV park. Enough room to park RV and at least 1 vehicle. Friendly people in park and friendly staff. I usually stay at another park a few miles a way at double the price of this park. This park is my new park to stay in Grover Beach, CA. RV space lay out is good for small park. Will return for sure.

Their season is from May 25 to September 30. The rates are about $30 per night more during this time. Plus $25 extra per night on holidays. Our rate was $158 per night (including tax, pet fee and holiday fee). Pets are welcome but checked to make sure they are not on their "black list". There is a nice pet/walking trail along the front of the park. RV Spaces are some of the smallest we have seen in a long time. Parking also tight and limited. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The park is nice and will return if ever back in the area. Park is clean and well kept, but I do feel at $158 per night for RV is a little pricey..

Date of Stay:

San Onofre Bluffs Campground (south of San Clemente State Beach and San Mateo Campground). Typical state park campground. No hook ups. 3 free dump stations. $35 night (RV and tent same price). Large RV sites. Tent sites have trees and privacy between each space. About 1 block from beach. 12 nice easy walking trails to access beach (divided into 6 sections). Section 1 and 6 are dog friendly. Very friendly staff and park host. No gates that close. Generator hours are from 10 AM to 8 PM. Noise from trains and highway but easy to forget about it. Great views over the landscape to see the ocean. Visited over weekend and over half RV spaces were open. 15 minutes to shopping and fast food. Will return.
