Overall, nice park with all the basics and is clean and level. Neighborhood is a little run down, but once inside park like a different world. Looks like a lot of seasonal guest, but folks were nice. Not a long way from downtown, but roads under construction, so some detours. GPS directions take you to areas that might not be safe for RVs, like low clearance, so use website direction. We would stay again!

Overall, OK place to park to see Natchez, but nothing in Vidalia to see/do. Positives: plenty of places to walk the dogs both paved and grass, nice view of the Mississippi River, relatively level, concrete site, and seemed safe. Negatives: cable is SD (snowy definition - in other words "pitiful"), Wi-Fi was hit or miss at our site, noisy at night from chemical plant nearby, very dusty gravel roads while driving into/out of park, location to park is tricky because actually need to be on MLK Street vice the Park's actual address to get there, and neighborhood you drive through to get to the park is unsavory. The staff were nice and all the basic hookups worked fine. I think this is probably the best place to stay while visiting Natchez, so I'd stay again, but there is room for improvement at this campground.

I hesitate to review this park because this place is so nice in the fall. I don't want the secret to get out. Quiet, beautiful, relaxed - Paradise! We stayed during the week so I'm sure weekends are busier, but we enjoyed every minute. The bath house was clean and nice. Oh, the dogs were loving being in nature because they are usually city slickers. I could live here!!!!

Don't, I repeat don't, do like me and get here after dark. Roads and sites are very narrow/tight and are back-in. I got some scratches and bent my storage bay door because it was so tight and so dark. My spotter couldn't see what I hit. When finally in, discovered the 50 Amp hook up had low voltage so I moved the next morning and, believe me, it was easier with daylight. Otherwise, nice, quiet place . The $5 per person per day fee jacked up the price to $35 per day. The $5 is for the "amenities" in the resort, but everything is so spread out you can't walk to any of them. We used them very little. Place served our purpose and I might come back if in the area, but not coming here specifically for the resort.

Great park that's well worth the price. It is new so how it is in a couple of year's we'll have to see. Weekends getting very busy, but weekdays no problem. We will be back whenever in SD!

Where to start? Very unhappy with this place. It's dirt/gravel with uneven sites. I had to change sites 4 times to get level and away from trees. Virtually no cell phone service and they charged me $5 for internet that you can not get at your site: supposedly can get it at the office. Who wants to only use internet at their office? The bath house was horrid. It looked like it was from the 1960's without any work done on it. Also, there are lots of old trees with sites essentially fit in between and around them. Extremely overpriced!!! I will NEVER stay here again!

Hot and Dusty. It's a safe, nice park when just passing through, but I can't imagine staying a long time. There is a nice doggie area that we liked. All hookups worked out OK. Maybe nicer in the winter months.

Stayed here as a stopover. For one night, this park is convenient to freeway without being too noisy. Whoever designed the pull through sites has never hooked up with a trailer connected. The sewer connection can't be reached without unhooking the toad. Overall, it worked OK for one night. Much longer than that would be a no.

We loved this place! Yes, it's not perfect, but it's so peaceful and outdoorsy. Your chances of getting sewer is very small, but there is a dump at the entrance. Great little trail a short walk from our site. Dogs loved to play at hunting. We only stayed one night and all worked well. There is no cable, pool, or clubhouse but there is a convenience/gas station across the street.

A 9.5 rating! I loved this place. It was quiet, wooded, homey and perfect for me, a southern boy. That said, there are some permanent residents who kind of act like they own the place, and the managers are super picky. My car will hardly go 5 miles an hour. Relax, 7 MPH is not going kill anyone. No bathhouse, no pool, no clubhouse, yet I still gave high ratings. It is a peaceful paradise. Just don't anger the sheriff(s).

Stayed one night. Not a great site. Too much like trailer park.

Date of Stay:

Good location close to I-30 for overnight if it's too hot to dry camp at Wal-mart. Long-term no way. Just a big parking lot covered with gravel. Lot's of permanent residents giving the place a TPT feel (Trailer park Tr***). That being said, had no problems and we were happy with the place for that one night.

Very clean, nice park. If you go in June, there is plenty of room because it is HOT. Everything worked fine, but only here one night.

Very nice park with all the amenities needed. Very convenient to all attractions if use the shuttle. There is some road noise from the freeway, but didn't bother us at night. Only real complaint is the surrounding neighborhood - trailer park behind and elementary in front.

This is a premium site! Very clean, safe, and well run. The nearby casino has a regular shuttle that comes by all day and night. The sites are large and very clean. Restrooms very nice, but not heated or cool so the summers could be tough. I definitely will return.
