The facility is in an East Texas setting with lots of pine trees and the usual pine needles, etc. The sites we had were on crushed granite (?) material. It rained a lot that weekend so there was water running and laying around. It was a good Texas camping experience. The activities for the Halloween weekend were in keeping with a family atmosphere, and lots of families were there with their campsites decorated for the occasion, along with hayrides and trick or treating.

This park has recently undergone an update. It is located behind the Red Cedar Motel. There are both pull-thru and back-in sites which are level gravel pads. There is a covered patio attached to the building with the restrooms and laundry room.

We were there for a rally and were impressed with the attention of the staff to our needs to be sure that our function went on without a hitch.
