Gilroy Garlic USA RV Park, Gilroy, California

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are concrete with gravel between, minimal landscaping. Sites are "slide to slide", minimal room to park a long tow vehicle or toad, no patios (no room) or picnic tables. Good satellite viewing of southern sky for pull-through sites. There is a lot of road noise all day and night. No dogs allowed on grass, there is a dog park but it is full of dog poop. No coach washing but you can have a service come out to wash your coach. Funny thing is the service uses the parks water so what is the difference if you wash or service, I smell something fishy here. They could charge like other parks do to allow owners to wash thier coach, revenue in. Lots of permanent residents. We camped at Gilroy Garlic USA RV Park in a Motorhome.

Alliance Hill 50 Plus RV Resort, Marianna, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

The owner met us whe we arrived and guided us to out site. After we set up, he showed us around the facility. Very clean clubhouse. It is fairly easy to get to if traveling off I-10. This is a very quiet park. If you need to have lots around you this is not the place. We thoroughly enjoyed the solitude. We will definitely stay again. We camped at Alliance Hill 50 Plus RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Lake Pemaquid Campground, Damariscotta, Maine

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 12 days only because we could find no other place in the area to stay. There is no satellite service, too many trees. No air antenna either. We had to move our coach several times to get far enough away from the trees, so we could get our slide out. We use an external water filter/softner and after two days we had to change it because it was a dark brown color.

There are seasonal campers here and they do not keep their spaces very nice. I will never stay here again. We camped at Lake Pemaquid Campground in a Motorhome.

Swan Bay Resort, Alexandria Bay, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $72.00
Overall Rating:

You would think that if you are paying this kind of money that you would not have to pay additional for you electric. The WiFi here is awful. It was in and out if you were even able to connect. Our site had weeds growing in the patio. The front office was very nice and helpful. I have traveled all over the US in the last 5 years. When I pay this kind of money I expect my site to be in good shape and the advertised amenities to work properly. I will probably not go back. We camped at Swan Bay Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a great place to relax and unwind. We had a pull thru site that was very spacious. The grounds are kept mowed and clean. The ladies in the front office are very friendly and helpful. We stayed here for 5 days in a Motorhome. I will put this on my list of places to return to. We camped at Camp America Campground in a Motorhome.

Riverview RV Park & Campground, Loveland, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This park has way to many permanent residents that do not keep their property clean and neat. Very old trailers in poor repair. The grounds are not mowed. We had to ask for our area to be mowed, they did not weed eat in between sites, weeds up to my knees. Sites not level out front wheels were off the ground. Location is great, in between Estes Park and Loveland. The only reason we stayed here was it was close to our family otherwise would never stay here. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Ancient Redwoods RV Park, Redcrest, California

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

One of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at. It is located right in the middle of all the beautiful redwoods. Site were wide; no close neighbor here. Not very full when we were there but that is OK. It is quiet and peaceful. The office is great, very helpful with things to see in the area. No cell phone e service; have to go to the office to get service. We camped at Ancient Redwoods RV Park in a Motorhome.

Distant Drums RV Resort, Camp Verde, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great park, we stayed here for 2 weeks. The front desk is very helpful and friendly. Clean restrooms and laundry. The only reason I did not give them a 10 is that the Wi-Fi is really bad. We camped at Distant Drums RV Resort in a Motorhome.
