We stayed here for the first time. The setting is beautiful. The indoor pool and water park was a HUGE plus for our kids since it's too early in the season for outdoor pools. We arrived at 10 PM and they had no escorts to take us to a site and we were just told to pick any site. It was a little difficult with it being so dark but we ended up with a very nice site in the end. The camp store had hardly anything in it. They did have the room, shelves and refrigerator and freezer space for many things but it was all empty and bare. They did not have coffee available and said the coffee maker was clogged. They do offer Wi-Fi for $5.95 per night. Everything was very neat and quiet. Some sites were spacious and others were small. People were very friendly all around the campground. We are not members and are considering becoming one in the future. Overall it was a great weekend and perfect for the relaxation we were looking for. The thing that did bother us was the RV storage was right by the store and it doesn't look very nice. It looks as if many RVs have been there for years and are just a mess. It would be nicer if that section was moved out of sight.

After reading previous reviews we were nervous to try this campground. We were pleasantly surprised. The woman who booked us over the phone and checked us in was confusing and slow, but don't let that scare you away. There was a great guy working here the whole time and he was AWESOME! The pool was clean, no lifeguard. Putt Putt golf was good. Not a fancy courses but everyone enjoyed it. The sites were a little small and could have used some weed whacking. They were nice and shaded. One thing that surprised me was the activities they have for the kids. I hadn't expected that. We had treasure hunts, bingo, free root bear floats, weinie roast and fireworks. I want to note that great guy was here for all of that too. He was awesome during the treasure hunt with the kids. My kids really enjoyed "Ranger Mike." The pond was stocked with a lot of fish. Kids caught a big catfish among other smaller fish. It was a great experience and we would definitely go back.

We were very pleased with this campground. They have 4 pools but we only saw 3 of them and actually used 2 of them. They did not have lifeguards on duty, but an employee was always at the pools. This is the largest campground that we have ever stayed in and it was one of the quietest campgrounds. We stayed on site 560 and it was huge. My brother stayed on 562 and it was just as large. We could have all stayed on one site and had plenty of room. The free parking they offer was wonderful, but plan to get there early. The parking lot filled up quickly and they really pack people in. They also have 2 stores stocked with most everything you would need. They did charge $4.00 a day for internet. Another con was that they did not have fire rings. The bath house near our site is the only one we used and it was clean. The water pressure was not very good in the showers. It made it difficult to get all the sand from your hair. They had movies each night and on Friday night they had a DJ at the front pool. We would stay here again it was a terrific experience.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a terrific time. Our site was #168 and was one of the larger sites. The pool was clean and large. My only complaint would be they do not have a lifeguard on duty. They have a giant bounce pillow, that my 3 kids loved. It cost $2 or $7.50 for the day. The game room was huge with many games and pool tables, they have an indoor basketball court which was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Their was a lady Diana who was specifically assigned to kids and activities and she was wonderful. Quiet hours were 10pm-8am and it was quiet. We will stay here again.

We arrived on a Friday 3 hours prior to check in and they did not charge any extra. The site was very spacious #94. There were 4 playgrounds, 2 which were new the kids loved the huge ship and castle. The pool was smaller then it looked in the pictures. They run a day camp during the week and the pool was cloudy. The staff was friendly. We rented the kayaks and paddle boats which cost $4 per half an hour. My 3 kids went back and forth between the kayaks and paddle boats. The girl working that section was very nice she played and joked around with my kids. She even let us have extra time. The golf course was also really nice. The only complaint we really have is that all the dumpsters were overflowing by Sunday morning. There were bags of trash on the ground around them. The CG wasn't full so I can't imagine how much trash would be piled up on a really busy weekend. There were not as many kids at this CG compared to the ones we usually go to. It was a lot of older people and it was very quiet. We would camp here again.

We camped here for a week and it had it's good and bad parts. The owners were very nice, helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They had some great activities for the kids. They had live music every night and they had karokee which was a lot of fun. The owners have only been at this CG for 2 years and are making changes. They went above and beyond to help us with some problems that we had. The camp store had very reasonable prices on most items and had everything you could need. The complaints that we had would be about the sites themselves. Our site was very long but very narrow. There was a hill as we came out our door so it made using the awning impossible. The fire pit was within a foot of our camper and was useless. Some sites were not this way and had plenty of room. The restrooms were clean but they only have one bathhouse for the entire campground. There was an issue with the showers for the last couple days. The hot water either didn't come on or only trickled out. With the right site we would go back.

I had booked this campground prior to reading the reviews. I was nervous to stay after I saw the reviews. We arrived on a Friday and were very surprised at how nice it was. There were permanent residents and they were very friendly. Our site was level and clean. The staff was very friendly. A new playground was being installed and is almost complete. The putt-putt golf was very nicely done and only $2.00 to play. The pool was great and had a slide which my 3 children loved. Lifeguards were always on duty. They had a movie night, a flashlight lollypop hunt, horseshoe tournament for the dad's, crafts for the kids to make a Father's Day gift and cake and ice cream for the dads. The staff was very helpful when a fellow camper hooked up his motorhome and found that his cord wasn't any good. This is a campground we will stay in again and again. My kids loved it and it was very relaxing for the parents.

We were very disappointed in this campground. It was not maintained at all. The staff was very rude to us. We found the campground doing an internet search and my husband called to make reservations. While making the reservations he asked about the canoe rentals which it shows on the website. They said yes that they had them. When we arrived he asked how we could rent a canoe and was told they had them but they were inoperable. There is no campstore. Trash was piled up during our entire stay. Not once did anyone come to pick it up. The showers were clean but their is no where to change or set your clothes and towels. There was no playground and the basketball hoop they had was in a grass field with very tall grass. We had no picnic table but did find one over by the bathouse and we carried it over to our site. It was in very poor shape. The pool was the only nice thing. It had 2 diving boards but only 1 worked. The kiddie pool was not filled. The horseflies were terrible. There were lifeguards on duty. This is not a place we would ever stay again after being treated rudely by the staff and the poor conditions of the campground.
