We where in the parking lot which was okay we where here to see the historical sites. Our space D-14 was level. If I come back I'd park here again. Yes the sewer was way back there but I bought extra hose after being in some gov parks that need more hose. So that wasn't a problem with that. I don't know if they have rules about dog but for three days some one had there dog on a chain outside BARKING and camp guy would just drive his golf cart. Now the camp guy was very helpful on how to get to place down town and where to park very helpful. If you like walking going thru and around the fair is nice. Also lot of free stuff going on they had a 4h horse riding competition jumping, doing figure riding, costume and other things. Also had farmers market with a band, vegetables and wine tasting.

I did look into showers and toilets to see what they looked like at least the one closest to us and they where clean. We stayed in F17 it wasn't level; the majority of sites aren't, but the pull-throughs seemed to be and the ones close to the creek. Lot of shade trees except in the "F" area we where in this areas no sites level. We have Sprint and Verizon neither had bars to get out except by text. This place is in a nice little valley. Not much noise and at night no security lights and that was a great thing. No cable and the wifi didn't work ever and no trash pick up. Did see Hannibal police drive thru. Sunday was maybe 5 other rver's in park raining and electric started going out about 5 times. Of course I called lady seemed upset that I did. Then around 12 noon water went off wife was doing laundry no water so I called and asked lady hung up on me. Promise I was just reporting it to her all the times I called twice and was nice. I would stay here again very peaceful, but I need a good signals or a good wifi for my business. I'm coming back to Hannibal it's a great little town lots of history.

It is a nice little park nothing fancy no tables. Is owned by the city so is patrolled. First 2 nights are free after that $10.00 a night. No discounts. But we'd come again great little town.

Old park on the river. Sites are back-in spots, and they are not at an angle. Lot of RVs in storage. Was amazed that so many people outside in this park cooking out and fires like camping should be. Very friendly place nice place to stop for a couple of days. We were on the water but was angle wrong and couldn't see river very good.

We like coming to this park greatview we have been here 6 time in three years. But what I don't like the wifi never works if you pay this much to me it should work and work good. Free laundry is great but a lot of them aren't working. People let their dogs roam off their leashes so you can have someones dog run up and start barking at you in your campsite. I do like this park.

Pulled in late and knew it was a mistake. Couldn't get a reply at any other CG in area. Finally found office in very back. Nothing level in this park. So many people live here full time, lots of noise. Some of the neighbors were really far out. Seems like a party place. We stayed but won't again ever. I don't like dogging someone like this. I can say the front office lady seems like a good person. If I had to stop here again I would try staying at local Walmart.

Easy to get here. Nice people. I didn't use restrooms or asked about cable. No trees so satellite would work. I would stay here again.

Out in the country. A nice clean park. Very friendly owners. Had a problem with electric and they called a electrician. He was there in 30 minutes, problem fixed. We stayed one night. Park is out in a farm area; very peaceful, quiet. We'd stay here again.

Nice clean park. We would stay here again, but not for a week or on a weekend. There's a gun range less than a mile away lots of target practicing. I though some one was shooting of fireworks till I recalled the gun range. I'm not against guns mind you at all, just the noise. Also, they have these golf cart with gas motors and they run around here with there putting noise. This park is noisy! Most sights aren't real big. The park is well taken care of and the staff really friendly lead us to the site. There seems like quite a few full timers but their areas are neat.

Owners were really friendly and helpful. A very pretty lake. For friendliness I give them a 10+. Site seem fairly level, not to close together. Can get Directv with satellite, there are some trees, but most sites you can receive a signal. Verizon(tracfone) had three bars and was on 4g LTE. I would tell a friend and also I will stay here again. I just stayed for the night. Didn't use shower or restrooms so can't comment on those. Getting into the drive do watch it; it is narrow, but they have it marked well. It says .30 miles to the park after coming off of I-49; it will be on the left. Their sign is not real big, but it seems most RV parks aren't. Great owners.

GPS Info. (Latitude, Longitude): 31.10667, -94.10722 31°6'24"N, 94°6'26"W This little park is at the top of our list! Such great views of sun rise and sun set. We stayed in site 45. Site #39 is called the point we didn't take it due to the trees and our satellite wouldn't pick up signal. Any sites a long water are great. Nice big sights that are paved and pretty much level. The gate host has been here for 8 years I don't blame them. Sites 31 thru 38 are pull-through. I really thought against posting this park review due to more people knowing about it. For most of the week we were only ones here. There's boat ramps here also and a lot of people catching fish, also tent camping. The park shows a lot more camp sites, but a lot have been gated and locked. From 30 to 49 are only ones open and 1 of those seemed not to be used. The rate quoted above reflects using our Senior Pass which cut the fees in half. Park Rangers and host where great, very helpful, one of the friendliest parks we been in.

Really nice view from premium site 57. Site wasn't real level, it had sewer, but it was up hill from sewer pipe, electrical was close to road (not having extension cord) had to park closer to road. Some one was having family reunion in park and playing rap music, rangers never said turn it down. They patrolled pretty regular, but they didn't stop. I'd stay here again, weekend you just got to see whats up and hunker down. Only are I'd stay is in premium sites by lake, rest of it looks rough. Texas SP amazes me they charge $25 a night and $7. dollars a day for gate others state do it also, but some remove it.

We would stay here again. NUWA owners had a rally here with 16 5 vers and us a Cameo. The TBONE the bar was closed so we didn't have any noise from there. Sites where level, had full 30 amps, 50 amps and sewer. Owners should put up a sign! We could possibly do rally here next year. We'd stay here again. No bath house, no picnic tables, no pavilion and no WI-FI, but we'd stay again.

Date of Stay:

I'd stay here again if I needed to. I didn't even ask for the discount Pass Port America. They had WI-FI, but didn't us it. My satellite did get reception. I could see if you where in first 4 site you might not. I felt like sites where fairly level - better than most of Texas State Parks. I would tell a friend about the place. For a couple nights stay it would be okay.

We will stay here again was in site 35 - awesome view of lake. Some site had decks. If you look at map - our site around where we stayed was the best lake sites. Before September 30, prices are $28 after October $20 for premium $18 for not. We like South Toledo Bend more than North. Lot more to do and you are closer to lake.
